We are running out of time to do anything. People get that, right?

The time for the people to act is quickly passing by. Folks, if we aren’t organized and in the streets soon, we will never again have the chance.

It’s an understandable point but if you believe, like I do, that this is all part of a much bigger plan to permanently dismantle democracy, optics might not be reliable, nor might they care how they look - as mounting evidence suggests.

Patel reportedly did the same. This is likely all a stunt to foster phony loyalty.

I wish more people had taken the time to read the reporting about how tech billionaires want to dismantle democracy in America. Now it’s happening and it might well be too late to stop them.

I’ve committed to this and I’m glad to see the message is getting out. Nobody should look at it as just one day, but as a moment in the beginnings of what will have to be a long and difficult revolution.

Excellent advice! There’s no denying how much more difficult and stressful life is going to be for most people. Eating a healthy diet and exercising are steps we can take for our own self care.

Everybody can start reducing discretionary spending. Even a 10-20% reduction will send an economic message. We have to make those who are propping up Trump to feel our pain and anger. Turn off the TV. Eat at home. Consume less. Whatever you can do. It’s not all or nothing.

I fear they’ve figured out how to rig elections and simply don’t care anymore.

Unfortunately it also means there’s not much hope of voting the far right extremists in those states out of office.

Trump is committing impeachable offenses almost every day now.

What should be terrifying to everybody is he and Musk are operating with the confidence that they will never face consequences. Not a false bravado of being above the law, but the rigging of a system that will secure power and protect them. Our democracy is being ripped from us. Time is running out.

I believe this is a valid concern.

We’re lollygagging our way into losing our Democracy. Midterms won’t save us. By then, it will be too late.

The idea of a general strike is overwhelming to many but if wondering what you can do, eliminate what you can live without. Spend less. Avoid MAGA businesses as much as possible. Don’t vacation in Red States. Quit META. Etc. Alone we are powerless, the collective isn’t. Start causing pain, together

Among Donald's many awful traits is an inability to ever look like he's enjoying himself. It goes beyond just perception at this point; he is clearly a bitter and angry person, intent on dividing and hurting, despite enjoying life's spoils at a far greater extent than most can even dream about.

Delicious idea. I like to start with red roses picked from a cute little ideological hill to die on. Sprinkle in some myopia and a generous helping of eye-rolling both sidesism for some extra kick.

Slapping accusations of genocide on Harris is a bullshit excuse to oppose the only candidate who could defeat Trump. The consequence of his winning is Palestinians are worse off now, as are Americans and everybody else on this planet. Red rose idiots. You go ahead and fuck off now.

Hey, I have serious suspicions about the integrity of this election, for sure. But we still know that turnout lagged. This wasn’t an election for people to sit out, even in states where they didn’t think their vote mattered.

I didn’t “tell them” anything. What I did was recognize a serious, existential threat to our nation, and then I voted for the only candidate with a chance to prevent Trump from returning to power. Dipshit.

American democracy might very well not survive, just as many of us warned prior to the election. It cannot be exaggerated just how dark these times are. Everybody who didn't vote for Harris, this is on you. Reasons don't matter.

We have once again handed power to the worst people.
