Something like 20% of GDP results from federal spending. Whether it's through employment activities, purchases, grants, etc. A great way to reverse a recovery is to take a hatchet to the government.

DONT’T DO IT. It happened to me about a month ago and now I have a cat that wakes me up at 4 am to be fed after engaging in kitty races with my other cat from midnight to 2 am. Plus he eats twice what the other one eats.
