Hey mate, I don't deny that some people are so bad they should die. But I don't trust the legal or judicial system to decide that. You can't take a bunch of bullets out of someone's head if they later turn out to be innocent.

Yeah - unlike a lot of gadgetry techbros push as the future, renewables actually HAVE been steadily improving in our lifetimes. And sometimes that pisses them off so much they side with guys who would still be running lamps off of whale oil if we weren't so damn sensitive about it.

The point you raise is the key to convincing the brainwashed. Once they understand and appreciate that fossil fuels are a limited resource there is only two outcomes:
1. These resources are only going to get progressively more expensive
2. At some point we will have no choice but to use renewables

But I can only fit 1 duvet at a time into my home washing machines. How am I supposed to live my life around a schedule of doing two separate washes for both of my duvets? Until that problem is solved this "home laundry" thing isn't going to go mainstream, maybe good enough for early-adopters.
