The conflict of interest should be alarming to everyone. How is this even legal given that conflict?

This is concerning at best.

We must speak out against this! I fear it is a foreshadowing of what is to come. We can't go to the Us vs. Them mentality that fuels hate.

This is nothing less than despicable and alarming. I fear it is a foreshadowing of what is to come. We must speak out against this.

We need more education. People don't seem to understand that intersex is a biological fact. There is so much we still don't know.

I fully understand why Ontario is doing this, but my heart goes out to the people caught in the middle whose electric bill will suddenly be much higher. There are no winners in trade wars. I can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea.

The amount of straight lies along with how he demonized whole groups was disturbing

I love that the first covenant we take is to mourn with those who mourn and comfort those that stand in need of comfort.

I would agree with Brady Brammer on this one

This is so true. So many don't seem to actually know or understand the gospel Jesus taught

We have a desperate need to Love our neighbor. First we need to understand how much God loves us so we can love as He loves us

We used to live in this city and we know this street well. This event breaks my heart. Our world has no greater need than for everyone to sincerely practice loving our neighbor, no matter how different they might be from us, as ourselves and how we would want to be treated by others.

As Christ taught, our neighbor is everyone. I love the story of the Good Samaritan because it emphasizes that our neighbor includes people who might even be considered enemies. We are all human beings with a shared humanity.

My heart goes out to all of them. It feels like the world is upside down. The humanitarian jobs are the ones we should be most protective of if we believe in the common principle "love your neighbor as yourself"

That means giving thanks for the bad and the good "all things". Often giving thanks in the bad things helps us see silver linings we have missed.

Love your neighbor as yourself is the commandment we are the most lacking in.

This is an appropriate or the most efficient way to cut government spending.

I'm in complete agreement with Senator John Curtis' response. Ukraine is our ally. Russia clearly started this war; it is a fact. Ukraine is like the dam stopping Russia from invading more countries. We can't give up on them

Lots of concerns there and I'm glad to see him speak out

A welfare bill for dentists? Didn't we get past this decades ago? In 1945, Grand Rapids, Michigan, was the first city to fluoridate its water. In the first 10 years, the rate of cavities in kids decreased by more than 60%. Thus, the idea of fluoridated water as a boon for public health was born.

That is more than concerning. What do you think is their main reason?

Seems crazy but I think people do that to ease their conscience and avoid responsibility

I love the emphasis on "Greater Love"

I hadn't seen this until now. This feels so different from what I learned starting in Elementary School about the US and what is written at the base of the Statue of Liberty as our part of our American values: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”

Good Question! We lived in Germany during the Cold War. There was no question who the bad guys were. Several terrorist attacks and such a distinct separation of the East & West. In just the time we were there, several bombings at US Bases killed or injured over 100 people - mostly US Soldiers.

I don't know about all of MAGA, but the people who ran us out of Missouri and Illinois were Christian Nationalists which is certainly a strong influence today

I attended Mike Kennedy's townhall meeting last week. Concerns over cuts to Medicaid seemed to be a hot topic for many in the crowd there. Kennedy specifically said he did support any cuts to Medicaid. Fact: this bill has a cut of $880 Billion that will mainly be in Medicaid.
