They were "given" without the proper protocols. I have family with security clearances and it involved deep background checks, multiple forms, and an FBI investigation. This did not happen, Trump handed out clearances like candy. Trump and Musk would not qualify for clearances in normal times.

Serious question....why can't Elon Musk be arrested? He's done a hostile takeover of OPM and is putting all federal employees and the safety of our country at risk. He is not elected & his DOGE isn't congressionally approved.

Both books are fantastic! I rarely see A History of Wild Places mentioned in bookish communities, but I recommend it to everyone. The Reformatory is excellent and worthy of all the praise it receives.

We need both! The press is timid, fearing the loss of their job, and I don't know what is going on with the Democrats. They are mostly silent. Trump has already broken the law by firing the IGs. He's violating the Constitution. Threatening allies. Who is pushing back?
