I assume so. I was simply pointing out that the federal government has a history of using federal funds as a means to enforce compliance with individual US states.

That is literally how the federal government mandates the US highway system speed limits.
If a state refuses to comply, they have federal funds withheld for road maintenance. It has been like this I think since the 70's, starting with President Carter. I could be wrong though.

The ROK went through multiple republics, all of which featured a military dictatorship behind a chosen president.
It wasn't until the sixth Republic that most political freedoms were granted.
comment in response to

It was a completely different situation. Plus, the ROK has a history of dictatorship.

The military coup becoming a regular thing could be worse.

Your first sentence may indicate why President Harris's campaign was such a historical failure.
It does not seem wise to run as a pro genocide candidate if her base was so against it.

I apologize for compromising your ethnically pure, social media thread.
I still think it's retarded to get offended over using Democrat Part vs Democratic Party, but I cannot control your emotions.
Have a pleasant day.

I don't think it's a good idea for the US military to overthrow civilian authority.
Once you do that, it's pretty hard to not do it repeatedly.

Didn't Bush invade two separate countries and destabilized the entire middle east for generations to come?
I swear I remember that.

I am Japanese.
I clearly am not fluent in English to recognize the nuance you are referring to.

I don't believe any of the story you are sharing occured.
It's moronic.

I flew out of that airport twice last week. Scary.

I don't think it's fair to blame Russia for Americans being stupid.

Canadians boo the US national anthem at every playoff game.
This isn't new.

To be fair, this is what the majority of participating voters voted for.

Reddit is a message board. I would not put any value in anyone's posted story. People make up shit all the time.

No...the fact that Will refuses to stop using twitter is the sad part.

I really doubt that Canadians are pro genocide enough to be Democrat party supporters.

Every American I know seems to hate their government. So it makes sense to me that a man running on destroying it would win.
I don't think the media could have stopped this election result.

Wouldn't England's abandonment of Poland be more apt?

Will is engagement farming. This is what he does.
He seeks out trolls to antagonize and the post the results. He doesn't believe that anyone is threatening his life. If he did, he would stop posting on multiple different social media platforms, 18 hours a day.

I been there! I was doing a job for the port of Vancouver. It is a very nice place to visit!

You literally feed the beast, Will.
You have a choice and autonomy.

It was like this in parts of Japan as well. We have four different diseases that were specifically caused by industrial pollution. We used to not have many regulations to protect the environment. Many people died.

Um Will, please don't take this the wrong way, but I think you should follow your own advice.
Twitter seems to make you very miserable. I think you should take a break from it.

The US is just like the USSR in it's finally days. It was run. by old people who kept dying off.

I think the speech was directed at his base, which hates the federal government and the US spending money for overseas objectives.

I would definitely be in the hotel room if I could, but there is a large piece of equipment I must commission for a natural gas company here.
Got to make the heat!

Interesting WWII fact. The soldiers that held the Hitler bunker until after May Day were not German but French. Members of the SS Waffen Charlemagne.

This is the danger in posting so much on social media.
It's why I take regular breaks.

I agree with my view being very materialistic. I also would argue that the view of a lot of American voters is moronic. Look at Trump support among American farmers.
It's very high. That group is going to be broke in two by the collapse of USAID. The question is, will they put two and two together

No one force Biden to have a stroke on national TV during the first debate.

Which explains their support for Trump. They most likely see Trump as a disruptive force for a society that leaves them behind.
At least that is my perspective.
