Get in front of the cameras to stop trump? Seriously? They spent the entire night trying to force Republicans to agree to their amendments to save Medicaid. Republicans didn't but we have their no vote to use against them. This is how stuff gets done, not yelling into a microphone.

What can they do? They have no power. We need elected officials in office to lead the resistance. They have the power to enact legislation or sue on behalf of their constituents.

The fossil fuel companies have known for over 100 years what they were doing to the atmosphere. They have been lying to us about climate change.

In order to apply for asylum you have to physically be in the country. Applying for asylum is legal.

Congress just approved the appointment of an anti-vaxxer as health director while measles is spreading across Texas. Vaccines prevent measles. How many people insist masks do not protect against the Covid virus?

The discussion began with a comment about how Schumer feels about Netanyahu. That was the useless part. Trump is "relocating" the Palestinians so Netanyahu is happy. Done deal.

Just a useless discussion I shouldn't have responded to about Schumer and Netanyahu.

So that is Schumer's fault?

Absolutely.

March 24, 2024 Schumer announced he saw Netanyahu as an obstacle to peace in the country's war with Hamas and said it was time for the country to hold new elections. Facts are pesky little devils, aren't they?

He does not like Bibi and called for elections to replace him. He added his name to the invite reluctantly only because of the Israel - US relationship. He certainly did not invite Bibi himself.

As majority leader he got Biden's major legislative achievements passed and confirmed most federal judges since JFK. He has been a very effective Senate leader.

To impeach him the Speaker assigns a committee to investigate him and then a vote is taken. A simple majority is necessary to impeach. Do you see the problem? Republican Speaker will not assign a committee. No committee will investigate him. No vote will be taken. Republicans have the majority.
comment in response to

Okay. The majority party of all three branches of government will get right on it. Oh, wait...
comment in response to

Republicans have the majority in the House. They won't impeach him. Impeaching him does not remove him from office. He has been impeached twice. The Senate has to find him guilty to remove him. Also not happening. The other two times he was impeached they acquitted him.

Trump, musk and the architects of Project 2025 flee the country. Dems take over and restore order. Things will get very bad and then it will finally be over.

Garland got indictments in two criminal cases against trump and trump's judges saved him. This is how this ends. Every movement has a tipping point. When the economy and society have collapsed and every fanatic MAGA says this has to stop that is the tipping point. They join us in the streets, 👇

Trump would finally be able to use the military on the citizens of our country for, ironically, mounting an insurrection against the United States.

The Party that doesn't control any of the three branches of government is doing everything they are legally allowed to do and you think you could do better? (202) 224-3121 Call them.

@democrats.org They release daily updates. Why don't you organize your billionaire buddies to protest trump and musk. They are trying to get you a lower tax rate. Let them know how all of you feel about their methods.

Reminds me of Nixon. If the President does it that means it isn't illegal. A great role model for trump.

Democrats are telling people what they are doing every day but the media won't cover it. Remember the media is why we have trump. He is their meal ticket. They lied about him to help him get elected while ignoring Harris. If Democrats were in charge the country would be fine but the media wouldn't.

Impeachment does not remove him from office. He has been impeached twice but the Senate acquitted him. This current Senate will not vote to remove him from office.

There is nothing she or any celebrity can do. This is so serious the only people who should speak are current office holders who know what can or is being done. This isn't like the CA fires where celebrities could give pep talks. This is the future of our country and of us.

She is a private citizen and not involved at all in what is happening. You understand Dems announce every day what they are doing but the media doesn't talk about it. There will be a different spokesperson because the scope of what is happening and being done is huge and moving fast.

What in hell do you want Kamala to do? For the love of God stop finding Democrats to blame. Republicans control all three branches of government. Biden worked hard to appoint 235 judges. The courts are the only remedy. Get a clue.

90 million Americans did not vote. Dems said they didn't like Harris or the Party didn't care about middle class people, which is bullshit,or they didn't like their policy on Gaza. So instead they got trump who wants to relocate Palestinians and build condos in Gaza. Democrats can be stupid, too.
comment in response to

For God's sake. Who do you think brought charges in the Jan 6 and classified documents cases? Garland's DOJ. As for now Republicans control all three branches of government so Democrats hands are tied. Why do you think Biden worked so hard to appoint 235 judges? So the courts could stop trump.
comment in response to

Trump charged in four criminal cases. First, guilty on 34 counts falsifying business records. Sentencing delayed. Indicted for Jan 6, appealed claiming immunity, Supreme Court partial ruling, case sent back to lower court. No room to talk about two other cases. Do not say politicians did nothing.

Dems have called for Elon's arrest but Republicans control the DOJ so it isn't going to happen.
