Hawkeye by Matt Fraction was so cool. A lot of innovative stuff, a car chase that was better than in the TV show, a chapter written from the perspective of a dog as well as one from someone that was deaf. This is an example of how nostalgia for the old days is simply nostalgia for when you were younger. The idea that America was a post-racial society in the 1970s/1980s only makes sense if you were literally a child at that time and couldn’t observe what any adult was experiencing.
