They don't have candidates in place yet because the election was called quickly. A number of Saskatchewan ridings don't even have confirmed Conservative candidates yet. Parties have until the 7th to confirm their candidates, so I expect every prairie riding will have a full slate of candidates soon.

He clearly thinks Americans aren't stupid enough yet. I'm not sure living through the fall of an empire is where I want to be at this point in life, but here we are.

In the short term I think the Gripen would be okay, but so would the Rafale. We really ought to use them as a stop gap and immediately join the UK/Japan/Italy 6th gen fighter jet program for longer term upgrades.
