Numerics were not working should have been 50 over match

It is sort of weird to me that the team that played a New Zealand A team were also described as England Development and it was also a over match. I am sort of confused I guess.

It looks a young side. Possibly the keeper might be the oldest? I wonder where and if the players such as Mady Villiers show up in this multi-squad line up that you looked at on your pod/vod last Sunday as clearly they rate her down under and with streaming can see potential if they need players.

There's not enough players and 2nd XI (see Essex for example) have a significant number of current player 1st XI players taking part. Then there are academy fixtures and young people juggling education and jobs as well

It's interesting to compare to the men's game where loans can last from a week to a season with another team but it is not back and fro. This also affects rest and recovery as well as practice and coaching. Sterre Kalis was also playing for the Netherlands recently I think. L W-H is also interesting

Then the New Zealand A v England Develpment is seemingly not being shown on YT so only the clips. Amazing to see Ariana Dowse keeping (I do not recall seeing her undertake this role for any Sunrisers/Essex team recently) live.nvplay.com/ecb/?tab=m_s...

The way that players are allocated to matches using the software is usually by selecting from an online squad list so it seems to be a convention that is doing this rather than using the known name as part of the forenames of the player. It does not help commentators that are not familiar with them.

And yet for the League 3 counties such as Berkshire, who are using the same software basically, the cricketers are named as a first name and surname, so yes, which one is I think is Maisie and which one is Millie (apologies if I have that wrong).

BTW that was very nice of you to point out the date of the next Sussex Women's home game on commentary. Interesting that the Glamorgan Women will be playing Middlesex at Colwyn Bay!!

Now it is showing this for the next innings. Who are Inter City? Surely not the old 125 train service!!

Notionally ensures ECB funds for the county women's squad goes there but as someone asked on the Grumbler's thread, what about non-match day income and I would ask what about direct revenue from England Women's matches? Cannot find their real accounts online but how charging admin costs? Entity?

She was also a member of that ECN T10 winning England team last December and if I recollect had a very good tournament both batting and fielding. The same applies to Bethan Gammon for Glamorgan.

I partly followed the WI Blaze comp. It was all played I think on St Vincent so all the teams were there for a number of weeks. Barbados without Matthews were poor. But it was an opportunity for their young players to move on from U19 level and for others to shine.

Regarding the loans issue; there are not the number of players. Tier 1 have 2nd XI teams and a significant number are the 1st team players. In the case of a Blaze 2nd XI game, Michaela Kirk played where she could have played for Northants in the T20 Cup, and I think Northants lost that game.

Oops add Mabel Reid 2-10 (1.3). Just to add from a biassed viewpoint Ella Phillips opened the bowling and 1-5 off 2 overs including 3 wides.

Just looked at my weather app. It seems that the only major rainfall has hit this area of Devon up to Barnstaple this morning but is heading north westerly over to South West Wales. Apologies as the rest of us are probably in a lot of sunshine.

Their next game in this cup is according to commentary to be played in Brecon.

She is a people person, whether youngsters or the older people. Sometimes like a sliding doors situation I feel that she has taken the wrong turn, puts herself for others, not so much us now, and affected her health. She does no sport now, and can say one thing and do another. C'est la vie.

Oxfordshire v Hertfordshire at St Edwards School, Oxford. Binfield Women play Moreton on Sunday but this is being played on Saturday!!! This could be a really good close game as know players from both teams. Devon v Suffolk at Budleigh Salterton. Latter can be decent T20, but former win here mostly

Berkshire v Kent at Wokingham on Sunday @crickether.com either the Walters Arms (daughter once worked there) or turn left up the lane!! Kent may be turning their season around with that win at Middlesex and Berkshire would have to pull something out of the hat following their win at Cornwall IMO.
