I have no expertise in government, but the piece of advice I give most to parents is “meh” - when you’ve got a toddler or a teen who’s trying to stir things up, the best thing you can do is be indifferent. Make sure they’re not hurting anyone and then just shrug. I think the USA did that today.

Miasma theory is more than outdated - it’s been abandoned because Louis Pasteur’s experiments in the 1860s proved it incorrect. Miasma theory isn’t a viable alternative to germ theory. This is dangerous nonsense that should be called out for what it it: anti-science policy that will kill people.
