I work at a small grocery store and the Prime sells at a steady pace. It's not flying off the shelves, but it does sell well. I am in the US though, so this could be a regional thing.

I mean, give their financial situations, I'd hazard a guess it's more likely it's medical decisions that'd she'd understandably want the father of her child involved in than an access & money problem.

Anyway, if you or anyone reading this thread wants to know why someone would like Berserk, I'd highly recommend the video essays that Super Eyepatch Wolf & Lady Emily did on the manga. Like, I understand some folks being turned away by the brutality, but there's a genuinely good story in it.

Truly said like somebody who's never actually read it.

I have a glaive loving Warlock in my life who's gonna probably have a lot of fun with that exotic glaive change.

Different reply clarified a bit: SA = Something Awful

I mean, I doubt you're gonna find many who'd even want to bother interacting with you if you're already entering thinking they're a sexual harasser because they like a manga.

Between the this and the things I've heard that some folks experience during pregnancy, the human body really is just a biological house of cards sometimes.

I thought they sounded familiar. Truly an excellent idea for the season.

In general, can we just go back to not giving a shit what Mark Cuban thinks outside of like, episodes of Shark Tank?

so much of media seems to think its primary job is to turn a spotlight on the hypocrisy of the audience's own pieties when its actual job is to hit a guy who made one million dollars turning puppies into mulch with a hammer five hundred times

Sometimes planes, especially small ones, crash in bad weather, especially when their potentially experiencing 30 mph winds & up to 40 mph gusts in cold, snowy weather. Honestly, it should be celebrated that those pilots were able to have as many people survive relatively unharmed.

I understand wanting to find deeper meaning but, I assure you that these are all unrelated events. You're just more aware of them because of everything that's going on with the government & the Potomac mid-air collision.

Compared to what exactly? Because the one health and wellness crank got into power, you want to throw the entire family out despite their continued dedication to disability rights, the environment, & human rights in general? Okay, bud.

That still wouldn't have affected it landing in CANADA in notably bad weather.

In the case of this Toronto crash, it seems the likely culprit is bad weather according to folks in the area.
comment in response to post
Adding on to this: It sounds like the weather in Toronto was absolutely hellacious today, so yeah, barring any twists coming out about this incident, it looks like extremely gnarly weather was the culprit here.

Good thing Toronto's in Canada then.

I mean, the rest of the family seems to be pretty low key doing the public service and activism thing. It's just RFK Jr. whose decided to be the loud weird one.

I mean, planes still crashed when the Democrats were in power. Plane crashes, in general, are pretty agnostic of whomever is in government at the time. Laying off a bunch of folks at the FAA certainly won't make things better in terms of safety, but planes will sometimes still crash in bad weather.
comment in response to post
Either way, it probably would be a good idea, especially if you have Republican representatives, to be very obnoxious in their voicemail & email inboxes asking about their plans/stance on layoffs at the FAA.

(Btw, if you've never learned about that 2001 Queens air crash, highly recommend looking it up. It's a really interesting look at the intersection of pilot training and the physics involved in flying.)
comment in response to post
So while the Potomac Collision is genuinely concerning, this Delta Airlines crash seems pretty standard, at least so far, in that it seems like crazy weather lead to an accident. Like, no amount of oversight will stop planes from ever crashing in bad weather.
comment in response to post
Honestly, the vibe right now kinda feels like when that airliner crashed in Queens like a month after 9/11 and everyone thought they were connected when in reality they weren't. But everyone had just gone through a major airplane trauma so everyone was super keyed into incidents involving aircraft.

Hell, I will show you the Size 18 Levi's I bought *last year*. A single brand switching over to width/length sizing does not change the fact that men's and women's jeans have used different sizing systems for decades. So kindly, you can shove your gotcha reply.
