It used to be the case that you could get the latest playstation for like 40% off. Now stores are like “best I can do is 5%” like bruh, taxes are more than 5%

In a perfect world where the field had enough people as it needs, I would obviously agree. However, ax a field as starved for bodies as the medical field is, imperfect help is still helpful. The bad can help those they are willing, which frees up the good to help everyone left.

And I’m sorry I only replied to your comment without scrolling the thread to see your other comments.

The lie was that the auditor is the only seat the republicans won in the 2024 election. They won 10/14 house seats, agriculture commissioner, Insurance Commissioner, Labor Commissioner, and the Treasurer.

I’m not a troll. I’m literally engaging with you to see what evidence you can provide. And also trying to explain why I think OP is correct, and not a coward. I can also explain the lie, and would have done so if not for the character limitation on this app.

And I just finished the video you linked. It’s doesn’t prove anything, and there was a major lie in the video itself
comment in response to post
Well, I can’t read it. You linked a video. Anyway, the context of what OP said was about left wingers claiming the election was rigged, in the manner republicans claim it was rigged. Which is about counting fraudulent votes. There’s no evidence that swayed the election results, ever
comment in response to post
I’m not ignoring it. There is no way there were enough faked votes to change the outcome of the election. Unlike the reasonable OP who unwilling to talk about this, I like hearing out conspiracy theorists. It’s fun for me. What evidence is there?
comment in response to post
Do you think it’s cowardly to dismiss discourse about the moon landing being fake? Also, they didn’t shut it down. We’re talking about it right now.
comment in response to post
It is the opposite of cowardice to call out misinformation designed to benefit your own party

I’m an electrician apprentice and a large majority of the material I work with is made in mexico. That extra cost will be moved directly to the consumer.

You are saying a whole lot unrelated to my claim. My claim is that those who got student loans and graduated college are privileged. Targeting those people for federal aid, doesn’t make sense.
comment in response to post
Yea I already said elite was an overstatement. And you can say that they’re easy to get, but it’s just a fact that very few poor people get them. Compared to those not in poverty.
comment in response to post
Ok, so you want to prop up the privileged and don’t care about poor people. That’s fine. I just disagree.
comment in response to post
If you have a college degree, you’re already winning. College graduates out earn non college graduates. And it’s not close www.bls.gov/careeroutloo...
comment in response to post
Even if you weren’t privileged, you are if you were able to attend college, but even if you aren’t, it’s still a fact that college students on average are wealthier than the general population.

I only subbed to lists that are objective. One blocks anyone who has MAGA in their name. And another that blocks people who have a hammer and sickle in their name. Both of those types are annoying af

I haven’t intended to show that student loan forgiveness has benefited to 1%. I have repeatedly said that it was a mistake to say that it benefited the elites. It’s more accurate to say that student loan forgiveness disproportionately affects the privileged. Not the 1%, but the middle class

I don’t feel that your reply addresses my sentiment.

It is a testament to our great society that you were able to pursue an education at 18
comment in response to post
I repeatedly discounted my statement that it helps the elites. I should have said the privileged

Mee toom…
comment in response to post
Idk if I would want that. I'd have to think about it. However when it comes to student loan forgiveness I know who that helps. And it's not the unfortunate.
comment in response to post
So you deny that poor people have a harder time going to college compared to wealthier people?
comment in response to post
Free college for certain people is cool, unilaterally dismissing college debt is cringe,
comment in response to post
Ok, so you don’t care about the poor. You just care about college graduates.
comment in response to post
I just call it “X” because it is no longer what Twitter was.
comment in response to post
Yea, there is a lot of wrong policy she supports, but unlike Trump, she isn’t a traitor to the country.
comment in response to post
A very small amount of poor people benefit from student loan forgiveness. The same is true for rich people. I’m not alienating the middle class by correctly identifying that they are the class who benefits. If you care about helping the poor, you don’t support student loan forgiveness
comment in response to post
You can try and paint me as a republican all you want, but I voted for Kamala. Not Trump.
comment in response to post
I’m not hating on the middle class. I’m just saying they don’t need financial support from the government. The poor need the money infinitely more than the middle class.
comment in response to post
I already said classifying college graduates as elite was ab exaggeration. I won’t bend on the fact that they are a privileged people tho
comment in response to post
Federal student loans do not overcome the advantage that middle class people have that allows them to go to college.
