I invite you to ask about any of my games! There's... POST-MORTEM: A two-player game about revenge from beyond the grave. EGRESS: A Homestuck fan-game to play out a SBURB session. THIS PLACE HATES YOU: A simple survival-horror game. TRUE POWER: DMC-style gameplay with six original settings.

this is what I miss: the early days when we could all have a laugh over AI silliness without overtones of doom

Check out my original games here: we-need-to-talk.itch.io My latest is TRUE POWER, a game inspired by action games and media like Devil May Cry, Trigun, and Mega Man X. Plus other games inspired by The Crow, Silent Hill, and Homestuck.

No cops at Pride includes the cop in your head who tells you to police other queer people. Learn the difference between being uncomfortable and being harmed. Deal with your discomfort on your own time. Pride is for the community, not just you.

yin and yang but it's me going "hahahahaha this rules" then immediately going "oh man oh god this feels bad for the world", then going "hahahahahaha this rules" again a minute later, and so on

FREE ADVICE: so, there's a filmmaking concept called "business." "Business" is, essentially, the stuff your character does while talking. Fixing a car engine, ice skating, eating an ice cream cone, ducking gunfire. You gotta give your characters "business" so they're not just standing there yappin'.

[desperately trying to come up with Evil Transition that isn't just someone's kink] what if you got to transition but... uhhh... pharyngeal jaw? wait. no. fuck.

I got bored at fell off of Nioh 1 and never tried Nioh 2 so I'm not likely to play this one... *but* I do think that having the ability to swap between parry-heavy and evasion-heavy playstyles is a neat gameplay concept. I often like stance characters in fighting games.

being intimidated by bluesky is so funny. yeah i keep getting my ass kicked every time i go to bath and body works

Woke up thinking about the neurodiversity paradigm—the idea that brains like mine aren’t broken, just natural variations. I love this idea. But, it occurs to me that one of my evolutionary roles as an ADHD person might have been to impulsively eat poisoned mushrooms so the village knew not to.

BREAKING NEWS: This video will likely improve your day.

Play Final Fantasy Tactics. Give Guns to your White Mages.

it's funny sometimes when I hear about others' experiences on the autism spectrum, because I can relate to so much, and then people get to the low self-esteem and it's a hard swerve I inherited a touch of my dad's narcissism, so I have to constantly keep myself in check to avoid being condescending

thinking about how Final Fantasy 9 had a weapon called “Excalibur II” and how all other games are too afraid to do such a thing

“The key to making good manga? Story, art, characters - these things help of course. But the real essence of a great work is having absurdly cute side characters that come out of nowhere to gobsmack the reader. The manga world turns on ringside announcers and bus tour guides.” -Yoshihiro Togashi

They're literally doing the meme

ah oui, ils sont back in town, n’est pas?

Remember when NFTs were inevitable? The plagiarism bot has more and louder rubes, but it’s just as much a grift, and we don’t have to agree to it.

The reason this works in RFK types' mind is because they've internalized the "culture of strength" framework. Your body is naturally healthy, so if you're unhealthy it must be some foreign influence or bad decision. Cars make you feel powerful, so anyone who wants you to drive less is sabotaging you

I'm not judging anyone who's into cricket or feeding kink, I'm just extremely curious why Bluesky has *consistently* decided I'm into both of those.

Incredible commitment to the concept if you click the thread.

had an idea for a video game: You play John Q Public. One day, some weird guys kidnap your girlfriend Liberty. Later, you receive a letter from President X, the inhabitant of the devil's white house, saying to save Liberty you must fight your way across america and face THE FINAL BOSS OF EVERY STATE

BRB, starting discourse that, since a basic premise of most TTRPGs is other participants can make bad things happen to your character without your buy-in by citing the correct "rule", which can only be declined by calling a time-out and negotiating (i.e., safewording), playing D&D is a form of CNC.

Using a relatively easy glitch in Yoshi's Island, it is possible to underflow the life counter and make it roll over from having 0 lives directly to 999.

Concept: Batfamily-style mob of young sidekicks and hangers-on, except the superhero they're ostensibly affiliated with does not and has never existed. They just got together and made up a dude based on established urban legends in order to benefit from the protection of "his" fabricated reputation.

I have to translate this. "Game idea: second person shooter Your girlfriend shoots stuff while you carry the little backpack with ammo and heal items."

You know, I really didn't expect Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers to have literal Looney Tunes sound effects. I can appreciate that the anime leans more on the setting's silly stuff, which the Strive story mode mostly avoided.

The way this guy says "Chibi Anime" has completely destroyed my vocabulary.

happy pride month here's something really stupid i drew two years ago when pandaemonium tier 3 dropped #ffxiv

Final Fantasy: Dissidia - Lesbian Edition

oh, one of the Nightreign PCs is a possessed doll, huh guess I gotta get it

Being a counselor is interesting because my job is to help the client, and so sometimes I have to figure out whether the client actually wants help with something that I would consider a problem. e.g. Is "fixing my marriage" or "winning arguments" the client's priority?

Haven't played Nightreign yet, but it's interesting to see people waxing on about how it makes them pine for Elden Ring's wide variety of options. I actually came to resent ER's variety because it wasn't scrupulously-balanced--in fact I'd say the variety made that kind of balance impossible.
