Self diagnosis is often the first step to professional diagnosis. People may think they broke a bone because the symptoms match that diagnosis. They go to the Dr to make sure. Same with ADHD, autism, chronic illness, disability and most other conditions. SELF DIAGNOSIS PRECEDES DIAGNOSIS

The neighbours have definitely moved, the peace has been really nice even though they weren’t particularly noisy (except the dog). It feels weird there being a whole empty house next door to us for some reason though? But much better than having neighbours 😂

Had a dream about a talking bat who wanted to come home with us, but its person wanted £640 and the husband said no. I mean it’s clearly gonna easily make that £640 back, and we’ve made Ben say if it ever happens we can buy the bat but it was very reluctantly and he wasn’t easy to convince 😂🦇💖

Thought there was two weeks between 24th Feb and 3rd March, and thought March was still weeks away lol 😂 🤦‍♀️

Yes, this. So many people are not getting appropriate help, and healing, because of the lack of awareness and understanding about dissociative disorders. And healing can’t begin until a DID system feels believed and safe enough to be authentic, especially those within who are hurting the most.

Dissociative Identity Disorder is real. Dissociative amnesia ("repressed"/recovered memory) happens. And trauma responses aren't "choices."

Bumblebee telling Maya out loud “you can wear my nice socks, they’re really nice and they’re the best socks we’ve got” so cute and weird 😂🦄 Mia is still narrating our life online then?! 😂😭 No wonder Amber quit and left them to it. She’s been doing this for years. 😂 - Maya Whatevs 🦄 D sox r gud 🐝

And now we have cramps, lol. Oh well. At least it’s the weekend. Gonna do some cleaning & gardening today in prep for house inspection. Maya is back and has been assessing life & what’s changed. Being conscious is weird when you haven’t been for years. Gonna try to get her to talk to someone today 🦄

I made this the other night while procrastinating, mainly because I thought all the posts about the blackout were boring. It feels like there is momentum bringing people together!

@justasurvivor.bsky.social hope you’re doing ok xx

Thought our being rubbish today was just continuing cold business, but now think it’s DID related & have regrets about revisiting 3 years ago when we don’t have therapy for 3 weeks because he’s on holiday 🤦‍♀️ we’re very shaken up but the general mood is apathy still & we’ve no idea who is here 😂😭🤦‍♀️🦄

If you are in the UK, over 18 and making sense of your relationship to suicide/experiencing suicidal feelings, Not the Void have a couple of places left on this Sunday 2nd March 2-4 pm free 'Tending to your Wise Compassionate Self' zoom workshop. DM me for info.

Couldn’t decide whether to bath or cook so cleaned the hob instead 😂 could still cook but littles want chips so it’s air fryer dinner tonight and will cook tomorrow (and look at the book again…)

Very annoying that you can listen to audiobooks on Spotify premium, but only if you’re the account manager 😐😤 Mean.

Last night we were in our own little world with headphones and one song when Ben got home. Nothing was said for a while. When we took off headphones he said “sup?” (Which is to be interpreted as “I see you’re going through some stuff, are you ok? Want to talk about it?”) we just sat continued >

Someone small to the husband: everyone in the head is happy it’s raining Husband: why are they happy it’s raining? Smol: *buffers and has no idea” Berlou: because we like it when the outside world reflects the inside world. Oh happy days lol 🦄

Anyone else experienced feeling a song and then that’s the only thing you want to listen to, and then after listening to it a load you actually pay attention to the lyrics and realise just how relevant they are?
