It’s not just the big parks affected by this. It’s the 60th anniversary of the March from Selma to Montgomery, the 70th commemoration of the murder of Emmett Till, Medgar Evers’s 100th birthday, 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. All of these places are under NPS. Think about that.

I’m from Alabama. Our state suffers from a voter suppression and gerrymandering to the nth degree problem. Most southern states would be purple if allowed to let elections happen as they should.
