Contemplating Church numerals through the crutch of Peano axioms: Haha fuck yeah!!! Yes!! Actually trying to implement any arithmetic operation from first principles: Well this fucking succs. What the fuck

So, at the risk of angering tech folks, I find the drive towards LLM generated unit tests somewhat baffling, especially for net-new code. When I was in college, we were taught test-driven development, because tests specify what your code should actually do. I wouldn't want an LLM written code spec.

Is anyone else just *not interested* in using AI for their writing? All accuracy and morality aside, I just don't want to. I want every last word I put on a page to have flowed out from my own body. Maybe I'm romanticizing it, but I just can't see it any other way.

yep, this tracks.

Alright, this is not tech related so hope you're not following me just for that. The SF Bay Area just is too gender imbalanced. Ballroom dance is mostly guys. I went to a mixer for kink community yesterday and it was almost all guys (guys here meaning people who use she/her pronouns).
