It is in this moment I have decided to stop playing the games I have been advised to play (yakuza) and start playing the ones I want to play (like a dragon) — continuity be damned.

Have you found any useful applications for LLMs in your data engineering/science work or is it all just nondeterministic-garbage-in nondeterministic-garbage-out

this nice article, thank you for sharing it, is very challenging to read with this banner blocking its contents on the left side of the screen.

I agree, but I don’t see the majority of leftists (in my circle) really arguing for increased toxic masculinity in the movement. There’s a difference (albeit nuanced) between saying “we need to be less tolerant” and “we need to be more assertive” — I think the latter is what’s needed.

I too found that trailer remarkably appley, its uncannily blemishless shell dancing around the Nondescript Product Void. Here’s hoping the direct in April will be much more personal. Also I need it to showcase some bonkers useless feature, like I hope the new joycons have moisture sensors lmao

it’s because the billionaires want people confused and scared! there’s no money to be made in sane discourse and factual reporting (nor does it get as many eyes)

I’ve been feeling convinced the ubiquitous billionaire-owned rage-bait media that allow people to believe inflation was Biden’s fault (and that Hatians are eating dogs in ohio or whatever) are the issue. but yeah if the complete collapse of an information ecosystem is a prior, then probably eggs.
