The outcomes in 2005 were quite different than those from 2004 with 6 women and a number of scientists relatively early in their careers. Several of these Pioneers have gone on to have impactful careers. Ben was pleased with the changes in process and outcome and said so publicly. 18/n

I don't purify the product- essentially, we use the LiAc/PEG protocol only with a 20X concentrated cell suspension- I'd love to look at your protocol! I will request it by email- thanks!

NOW THREE CRITICAL OMISSIONS… Omission 1: Firing of at-will employees Beyond the probationary employees, NSF acted *on its own* to also fire at-will employees (fact: www.wired.com/story/nation...) and *still has not reinstated* those at-will employees (fact: www.science.org/content/arti...).
