🔴 NEW - Starmer is normalising Farage. Here's the proof. 👇👇

If you don't think we're headed here, you aren't paying attention.

Ofgem's energy pricing formula enabled companies to make ÂŁ514bn operating profit. Price of electricity determined by the most expensive input i.e. gas. Electricity from wind, solar, nuclear, biomass, hydro cheaper but price determined by cost of gas. Customers ripped-off. Companies make billions.

This is high art

Corrupt judges let a criminal get away with treason and run for president. Propagandists masquerading as journalists lied to enough people that the criminal won. Then the criminal sold a half share in the presidency to the world's richest man, whom no one voted for. That's what happened, folks.

Hard to read this by @sjwrenlewis.bsky.social and not wonder whether Labour has, in fact, lost the next general election less than a year out from winning the last one. mainlymacro.blogspot.com/2025/03/labo...

When you see it one place it’s a bit overwhelming. No matter what the people of @bluestormcomin1.bsky.social do to try to convince magats to leave the cult, even this won’t make a difference #Trumptakedown #bluestormmovement

Empathy, or the lack thereof

#GVerse Watch & Repost!!! Two criminals made a deal to steal the Presidency to keep each other out of prison. And they’ve been telling us on tape that they did this for months. #RemoveTrump #deportelonmusknow

Quite simply THE BEST article I've read on the rise of the populist far-right and the urgent need for progressives to wake up to the new realities. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The Government claims it needs to make ÂŁ6bn of benefit cuts, here's a big long list of places where they could make far more money. ÂŁ42bn from ending Brexit. ÂŁ80bn Bank profits, even a 10% tax is ÂŁ2bn more. ÂŁ120bn Energy Company profits, quadruple what they were before 2021.

United Utilities dumped raw sewage for 6,327 hours last year in Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake. It has over 205 criminal convictions. Boosts profits, dividends, exec pay by sewage dumping. Allowed to hike prices by 32%. Nationalise. Prosecute directors. archive.ph/23xXb

🚨⤵️ “New research for the Covid inquiry found almost a third of government contracts to buy masks, gowns and other equipment went through the VIP lane”. “Those firms were 17 times more likely to win a contract than those outside the VIP lane system”. *17 times* www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Ukraine: Some disparate thoughts on a horrifying day... This is basically a scream of hatred and anguish, which gradually develops into something marginally more positive. I'm going to have a drink. It's not too early. iandunt.substack.com/p/some-dispa...

President Trump’s simpering fealty to Vladimir Putin and Russia is embarrassing and dangerous. Illinois stands with Ukraine, and so should the White House.

It's been obvious since January 6 that he was an enemy of the USA, the UK & the whole of the free world. Everybody still in his camp understands this as completely as everybody against it. They just prioritise personal interest over the national & international. And they know it. They all know it.

I think this is the closest many of us have ever got to seeing the real Trump. The only consistent thread in his entire unhinged rant was the love & praise for Vladimir Putin. Zelensky has more courage & dignity in his little finger than every member of Trump's regime & fan club combined.

I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.

🚨BREAKING - Steve Reed has just launched the biggest review into the water sector since privatisation. But wait…..he says the commission can’t even consider public ownership. 🤯 We need to act quickly to change his mind. ⏰ Sign our petition now ✍️ weownit.org.uk/act-now/stev...

TOMORROW- Friday, February 28th is BLACKOUT FRIDAY! If you believe we are in danger of losing our Democracy forever, FIGHT BACK! Let's make our voices heard in numbers too big to ignore. JOIN US if you've had it with Comrade Krasnov. 🤬 🇷🇺 #24HourEconomicBlackout

A president rapidly sundowning into full-blown dementia ambiguously handed power over the entire government to a delusional billionaire drug addict in a made-up illegal quasi-office and the Cabinet is split over whether their departments have to listen to his mad orders. It's day 34.

In light of everything happening, I wrote about how the KKK in the 1920s felt unstoppable, about the people that fought against them anyway, and about how fascism always fails. dansinker.com/posts/202…

New blogpost about Elon Musk's apocalyptic style: science fiction, fascism and the end of the world www.dorianlynskey.com/blog

The Washpost, which is bleeding millions of dollars and shrinking its staff, accepted -- and then rejected -- a $115,000 ad that criticized Elon Musk. Anyway, here's the ad that the Post's business side didn't want its readers to see ⤵️ thehill.com/media/514849...

“The reason we face the worst is because it helps us imagine the best.” What a fantastic, hopeful read. Treat yourself to this, and then spread it around.

Starmer is well aware of what needs to be done. Here is what he said when voting for Johnson's UK-EU deal. Services "a gaping hole", "lack of ambition", "Imperfect", "thin", "a basis to build on". Share, to show the PM that you back him going further and faster to improve our deal with the EU. ~AA

"The business lobby has, for all of these years, operat[ed] on a false assumption. They believed that they could slowly strip away the foundations of the House of Democracy for a quick buck, without the house ever falling down. Wrong. Wrong, mighty business geniuses!"
