It's really interesting if you watch the way media covers a known criminal and their activities as opposed to how they cover Trump.
Harvey Weinstein showing up for his trial on a walker was covered with skepticism and almost derision, while nothing was intimated about Trump's big gauze ear pad.

If we diminish these occurrences as "teasing" or "jokes", we will be sitting there wondering how he annexed a large portion of Alberta and Greenland and Panama.
He floats crazy ideas to see what the response is. The fact that some Canadians welcome it, means he'll really look into logistics.
