Lol. It's the least he can do after screwing us over.

Still...would be strange to sign two tens when it's our most stacked position and we have major needs in other areas. I'd prefer to sign a central midfielder. Ugarte not trusted in the final says a lot.

Although....hopefully he comes back and takes Onana, Antony, Mount off our hands for overly inflated fees.

The less said about Onana and Bayindir the better. Whoever identified Onana as a top tier GK needs a massive slap.

Hojlund just looks broken as a footballer. Hasn't progressed since he signed. And his confidence is completely gone. Doesn't do the basics well. Doesn't do anything well anymore. Even his pressing is gone.

And obviously a striker is a massive priority. Hojlund and Zirkzee are not good enough. I know people like Zirkzee but he's crap. He looks more comfortable in the ten but isn't good enough to play there. Certainly not ahead of Bruno, Amad, Mainoo and even Mount.

One of our biggest issues is a lack of composure / ball retention in central midfield. Ugarte wasn't trusted for the final. Says a lot. Mainoo's passing range needs to improve to play there. And Bruno is more effective in the ten. A CM signing should be a priority. Probably two.

Yep. Hopefully adds up to significant spending power.

Hope not. I'd boo him from his first touch. Unlike Zirkzee, who I booed from his second touch.

We can only hope.

Today doesn't matter but I feel like he often sets us up to not lose rather than to proactively try to win. Like starting Mazraoui at RwB instead of using him at RCB and playing Amad RwB.

Should have invaded the pitch and flogged them.

17th is funnier.

And other clubs will up the price of these players cos they know we're desperate.

And I feel like it's so heavily reliant on two players (the wing backs) more so than other formations. And you need the "right profile" of player for the two 10s. And you need CBs to be able to step into midfield. And so on. It's a very hard one to get behind given the results and performances.

Doesn't matter what people say about those wide players, Amorim has consistently chosen defenders in those wing back roles. Which basically means we're playing 5 at the back and somehow we're still crap defensively.

And then...I have a personal bias cos I really have never liked three at the back. Just a personal thing cos I know teams have won stuff in that formation but I just don't like it. My brain tells me it's crap to have more defenders on the pitch.

I meant with the media. Of course, he's going to be different in the dressing room than when he's public facing. I just mean he has to start refusing all these interviews, stop entertaining stupid questions and also needs to start rinsing the referees. Put pressure on them.

On top of that, when the rest of the club (academy, youth teams etc) isn't playing that formation in their own teams, it makes an already difficult step up to first team football that little bit harder.

He hasn't aged a day!

And I don't really care anymore if he's honest and open with the media and fans. Or if he's self critical. All that matters is the performances on the pitch. He has to know that surely?
