£100m transfer income & £16m off the books in terms of wages might be very hard for the club to turn down even if it is the captain. I love Bruno but this is not one of those approaches that the club can immediately dismiss anymore. And, as an individual, earning £200m in two seasons is ridiculous.

Are we saying Mbuemo is an out and out striker? Cos surely we can't sign him to play as a ten when you have Cunha arriving and Bruno, Amad, Mainoo, Mount, Zirkzee in the squad. Unless Bruno is off and / or Amad is moving the RwB. Also would make more sense if Mount and Zirkzee were being sold.

Probably a good thing. I'm uneasy with managers who just go back to their old squads / league after Ten Hag fucked us with his recruitment "strategy" of signing players he'd once had tea with. The shitehawk.

Incredible work.

Good signing on paper though I don't actually think it solves our biggest problems which are GK, the striker position and in central midfield. If Amad is going to be our starting RwB then I'm less concerned about that side of things. Dalot is fine as a back up.

Lindelof, Evans & Eriksen off the wage bill already. That's £17m per year. Hopefully we can get Sancho, Rashford and Antony out too. Which is around £25m-30m per year. Get some small fees for those three as well. Huge amount of wasted money in this squad. We can't afford to mess up this window.

Blimey. So many clubs are able to qualify for the CL this season that this lot have created a quiz for it.

Shame for Villa that "THREE MINUTES defined their season". It really feels like there should be a better system in place to define each club's season. Perhaps we can devise a points system for wins/draws which allows us to rank teams in a table. Maybe they even play each other. Twice! (Home & away).

I mean...it hasn't "literally" cost Villa anything. It happened with plenty of time left. Time in which United scored two goals and hit the post several times. Also...rules are rules. According to PL rules, Bayindir was in control of the ball so it would have been a foul.

This level of optimism is what kills you when it inevitably gets turned into gut wrenching disappointment and rage.

I dislike so many players in this team & that has only worsened after that performance. Villa needed a win for CL so they prepped for a win & ostensibly were trying to win. Yet we played excellent football & dominated for the majority of the game in one of our best games in the PL this yr.

Eriksen with a goodbye penalty. Casemiro with a goodbye scissor tackle. Hojlund with several goodbye misses. And hopefully Dalot's 27 minutes off the bench in the first half only to be subbed at HT will also be a goodbye cameo.

Casemiro with a goodbye sliding scissor tackle.

Lol..state of Villa. CL football lost against this United team.

Why is Eriksen taking it?

Should have started with Amad at RwB vs Spurs. In fact, he should be our starting RwB. The formation / system makes way more sense with an attacking player in those wide positions.

Mainoo on for Dalot. Yes Ruben! Suddenly I'm much more strongly Amorim in.

Why's he done that anyway? Hojlund would have cocked it up.

Lol at Emi Martinez. He's such an overrated cunt.

If we're still starting matches with Mount and Dalot next season then Amorim won't survive past October. One of the things he needs to recognise are the players that consistently let the team down.

No idea why Amorim started Shaw and Mount in the final. Just baffling.

Shaw "injured"? Shit twat. Just release him. After a public flogging.

How did OT react when the team came out?

Spurs are winning so we're now 17th. Lol.

Lap of shame more like. Amiright? Eh? Eh?

Said it before, Amorim seems like a decent bloke & I like how he speaks but, in the context of a making long term decisions for the club, a "343 merchant" was always a strange choice. It's such a deviation that any choices made will inevitably create an unbalanced squad for other formations.

Time to start culling the rest of them: Onana Bayindir Lindelof Licha (can't be relied on in terms of injuries) Shaw Malacia Dalot Casemiro Eriksen Hojlund Zirkzee Rashford Sancho Antony Mount Get rid of them and start again. Absolute wasters. The lot of them.

Stinks of "aspire to be like Villa". I hope he develops a bit of a mean streak over the summer cos he won't survive with this "nicey nicey, please like me" approach.

Have we folded the club yet?
