I'd like to say that Musk bring transphobic isn't surprising to me. Never was the thing that came to my mind. Perhaps subconsciously I misjudged the intention of the joke to be one of malice. If that's the case, I apologise for that. I dislike the joke being made nonetheless but you have right.

I respect their free speech to say what they want. But that does not mean I will always agree with everything being said. Eg if someone discriminates against me for being gay and call it free speech, okay I respect your right of free speech but it doesn't mean freedom from critique.

"Hounding" people is hyperbolic. I made one comment, responded to another, now talking to you. Only three people who oppose me. If you find it funny, I'm not gonna stop you from laughing. I merely express that I don't find it funny. You do, okay cool. Just wanted to express how I feel also.

There's many ways to have fun, however.

I've not controlled anything. I gave an option.

Discuss the situation in a serious manner, that's an option.

Replaying shining force 1 for the second time, recently since I loved this as a child years ago. Then I wanna complete shining force 2 as I never did back then, same with shining in the darkness. I really wanna find games with a similar feel to these but I'm afraid there's none I know of

It was painfully obvious. It wasn't discreet. This was blatant.

It is not weak. At this point, kindness is our only light. Will it outshine the darkness, time can tell that tale, but your reassurance helps so much people, reminding us that while we may not be able to do everything, we can do something.

I know you're just joking but I don't believe it right to joke over something so serious.

After all, knowledge is power. Power is knowledge shared. And that is a threat to the government's position in power and their relatively comfortable lives.

You're partially right. If you can't see the face, you can't see the human behind the person speaking. At least, only in some cases

You're on an app called Bluesky. Stop using it because it's a device used to manipulate you and your devices. Don't be a hypocrite.

Funny how you're using an app to tell us this. Guess there's another addict in the room. But yes they are communities, as communities are formed from people. Digital communities are real communities, because communities can communicate. Like the Bluesky community which you are a part of right now.

How ironic that you must be an addict too if you're on here...

I read books and use social media. We are concerned about this app being banned because its clearly not just about national security issues. It's censorship and I wonder why that is.
comment in response to

Probably staying on the app only to do the work I used to do there, defend the LGBTQ+.

This reminds me of a debate I just recently had. I wanted to have a civil debate with someone. At first they did. But....then....slurs followed. And it hurt quite a bit to be dehumanised and disrespected like that.

I will say I'm not too optimistic as of course this is not a big solution and may not be too effective. It's just I'd rather not be idle while their populace is growing and more people are associating with them.

This approach is not about tolerating nonsense. The fact we don't tolerate it is why we should educate them. It won't work on a global scale, only on specific, small scales. I think this approach is better than nothing even if the befits are not extremely big or obvious.

We have the same reality, but different perceptions of it. What we need to do is appeal to them in the sense that you must understand where exactly their views come from, so you know the best way to combat it, including rhetoric and how you converse with the individual specifically.

There have been homeless people throughout history who haven't had drugs of the sort and simply didn't have generational wealth compared to other people. But is Elon Musk aware of that history?
comment in response to

When he's rich, what will he know about homeless people? Has he ever spoke to one? Now there are scammere out there, that's no lie. To assume it's the majority is a big mistake.
