I've yet to have a game that didn't work. And to be fair, I don't do the kinds of multiplayer games that have anticheat.

I ditched Windows years ago. My Linux switch came from me being an Apple fanboy for a very long time. The company I fell in love with is long gone, I just hadn't accepted it until recently.

Thinkpads seem to have the best compatibility. They even have some that come pre-loaded with Ubuntu.
There's also Framework that has an array of compatible machines.

Exactly. I've always said the year of Linux is a personal achievement, not some global goal.

Arch with KDE. Arch because it gives me a nice minimal base to build on and KDE for its superior scaling abilities.

Yup, I'm 100% done with anything Windows at home. Wish my company felt the same way, but hey, we do what we can.

I personally use Arch, but recently had great experiences with Fedora, Bazzite, and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed.

The KDE team is also working on an immutable Arch-based distro for public use. Should be interesting!

There's not a single game in my Steam library that won't play in Linux. Although to be fair, I don't do multiplayer games with anticheats.
