His godking Trump did talk shit about little girls not needing 20 dolls. Marxism.

This admin has been very vocal about wanting to replace the Working Class with robots and H1-B labor. But that’s ok, let’s be mad at immigrants.

I don’t understand why there’s nothing like this on the left? Or a Project 2028…

You have me genuinely curious about this now. I’ll withhold further judgement until I take a listen myself. Thanks for the recommendation

The thing about these people is that they’ll ride whatever Anti-Trump wave they can to raise $$ & feel better about themselves. But they’d NEVER advocate for a Democrat Mayor, Governor, Senator etc. They’d still vote R congress all down the ballot. Don’t fool yourself about these wolves.

Why would we listen to people who brought this upon us? Their anti-Obama rhetoric and lies bred the Tea Party which eventually became MAGA. They planted the seeds and should be shunned for the damage they’ve done to our country.

Instead of informing the public and revealing the truth, journalists these days prefer to wait to publish a book to sale.
comment in response to post
Lmao I thought the exact same thing!!!!
comment in response to post
They tried fascism lite. “A lethal fighting force” & Liz Cheney tour didn’t entice MAGA & caused a lot of the base to stay home. We need bold, broad affecting policy.

Hiding important stories behind paywalls and cable subscriptions is what got us fake news & alternative facts. Lies are free and plentiful.
comment in response to post
Offer an alternative! The Dem platform can’t be “Hey we aren’t MAGA, here’s an obscure niche tax credit.” Do something!

Who wastes and abuses Medicaid? The poor or the healthcare system? I’ve never heard of someone glad to be on Medicaid. But I’ve definitely worked with doctors who become ecstatic when a new billing code drops.

Trumps nuts but I’m convinced he’s surrounded by people lying to him and taking advantage of his lack of curiosity. Especially after we saw Stephen Millers “take” on the 9-0 court ruling.
comment in response to post
No. But perception is often reality to some. He shows he’s fighting for them and not hiding behind some ancient ass procedures and nameless parliamentarians. Alice when will you start demanding more out of your elected officials and stop accepting excuses for why they can’t do anything?
comment in response to post
Oh Alice, we’ve been at this for decades and raising my kids to carry on the fight. Shame we have to. Incrementalism has gotten us nothing but a country drifting further and further to the right. Incrementalism can be erased too easily.

Hi. Did you read the article you cited? It doesnt state any NEW broad based policy proposals that the Democrats brought to the table. Niche stuff like first time buyers credit, small biz credits etc don’t appeal enough to the average hourly worker to take off and head to the polls. Get real.

There’s plenty of time to stock supplies, offline maps, build a network of likeminded friends and of course PRACTICE your 2nd amendment rights. You should be doing much more than typing online right now.

Listen. I feel like we are on the same side. We are a resilient people & will survive this Presidency. But we must DEMAND big bold legislative change out of our next candidate or we will just keep losing. I’m not giving any more $$ or time to anyone who won’t change the system.

Trump isn’t all new. He’s been around for decades and thanks to the editors at NBC, millions of people around the world see him as a successful person, regardless of actual business records. Pointing out how gross he is on the internet isn’t gonna cut through that perception to Gen Z and above.

Bruh they told me the same thing about Bob Dole, Bush, Romney, Trump 1… We’re still here. Listen, we all saw Project 2025 coming, even the Harris campaign. So why don’t we demand our party come up with counter policy? Where is Project 2028? It’s almost like theyd rather just sale tv commercials.
comment in response to post
Bruh I’m a black man in the deep south, miss me with the self preservation speech. People don’t wanna merely survive in this country, they want to THRIVE. We need policy proposals that will get people ahead. Tax credits ain’t it. Never will be.
comment in response to post
Dude Walz even goes on tv and says they sidelined him during the campaign. Again. I fundraised, donated, and voted for them but I totally see why so many stayed home. Being “not Trump” isn’t enough to motivate people.
comment in response to post
What am I saying that’s a lie? It’s the harsh truth Maggy. Perhaps you’re just lying to yourself about how abysmal the “policy” platform was. In 2028 we need to offer something of substance. We’ve seen what our government can do for the wealthy when in crisis. Not settling for tax breaks anymore.
comment in response to post
You know who forgot about Walz FIRST??? The previous campaign. They decided to sideline him, their best asset, in exchange for campaigning with the daughter of a war criminal. Who would NEVER vote for a Democrat mayor, Senator, Congressman, dog catcher…
comment in response to post
I paid close enough attention to know that campaigning with a Cheney, boasting a ‘lethal fighting force,’ and touting harsh immigration policy would demoralize the base. And it did. Moderate Republicans will never vote D but Moderate Dems will always chase their votes over the progressive base.
comment in response to post
And that’s why we’ll keep losing. People want big change, not incrementalism. Kamala’s unwillingness to offer any substantial change was her undoing. I voted for her Maggy.
comment in response to post
These are niche scenarios and far from the bold change that people are asking for. Like what if someone already has no interest in starting a business, getting an abortion, and already owns a home. What did they offer to those people? Nothing bruh.
comment in response to post
Hi. I didn’t stay home but I can totally see why someone would.
comment in response to post
What did she offer besides obscure tax credits, empty promises on Roe, and MAGA lite tax & immigration policy? Democrats should have actually crafted popular policy. They gave ppl nothing to vote FOR, just pointed out whom & what to vote against.

Rich considering the first Trump ever hears about his Executive Orders is when his aids hand them over and explain what he’s signing.

Robot workers are prevalent here in Texas. They cut the grass, deliver food, buss tables and now are Uber drivers. Jobs that working humans have relied on to make ends meet. Corporations that employ robot labor should pay triple into Social Security.

About time Democrats start offering people something besides tax credits! Ppl want real change they can feel!
