Developing alcohol tolerance doesn't mean someone is unaffected by alcohol, it just means they have learned to compensate for it. Compensation doesn't mean all your senses and brain are working correctly.

Congress "borrows" the employee and employer contributions from Soc. Sec. at 3% interest.
Many in Congress don't want to pay out the money when needed. They would rather end the program or turn it over to the stock market.

Unfortunately most of the news media uses fantastic headlines and outrage to get viewers to pay its bills. If they are interested in covering issues well, they don't show it. PBS does.

It's basic economics. Areas prosper more when the money that comes in, stays within and is respent within. Walmart pulls money out of the area.
