We don't seem to win close ones like that.. I'd say either your prediction or a 8+ point win

No doubt great defensive team. Not sure how many teams MSU has played with everyone in the rotation a threat from 3 though. We can get hot very quick. Will be fun game and hopefully not the last time we meet this season. Hate not playing traditional B1G teams more than once

Yeah I suppose we both think our teams strengths are going to be better than the others today lol.. my take is that if Wisconsin hits close to their season average of 12 made 3s p/g it'll be tough for MSU unless you have an outlier day from 3. Best of luck, have a lot of respect for MSU/Izzo!

Expecting a great game! Will be interesting to see how it plays out and whether (analytically speaking) elite offense/solid defense (Wisconsin) or elite defense/solid offense (MSU) wins the day.

Good squad.. Schweinsteiger over Effenberg though!

How do you find this on T-Rank? I seemingly can't find this section for some reason

Worst call I've ever seen. A flagrant 2 should only be used in situations where it was obvious intent. I've only ever seen it used when guys like head butt or swing at someone

Thing that was around that was better than any of those

That was good stuff.. really enjoyed how open he was with his responses to your questions. Intriguing to hear how close they pay attention to potential transfers during the season and how they have a long list already

Sorry if this comes off as being a bit of a hater, but Marquette at 11 still is a choice.. they've lost 3 straight and quite frankly have looked bad since the turn of the new year eeking out close wins against the likes of depaul and Georgetown. Trank/Kenpom has them closer to #30 now than top 10

True, but weird to use Creighton. They beat UCLA in early January who is borderline top 25 since then and are better than Creighton in every metric

Best part is Bill Murray's son just laughing at them both 🤣

I'm more bullish on Gard and the program turning the corner than I've ever been in his tenure. This team seems to have the connectedness and are seemingly getting better by the game. No pure black holes in the offense from a shooting perspective

Know Matta had some health issues but think him leaving OSU was also partially forced from results falling off. OSU hasn't competed for the Big Ten title since. OSU, Indiana, etc can't buy the success Gard has had with all their resources. Badger fans have been spoiled and expect 2015 every year

Didn't he pretty much single handedly kill high speed rail on the west coast?

"Further, many of their children earn money at actual ’jobs,’ rather than spending their parents’ money or living off a trust fund.” Gee, wonder why Minnesota actually passes progressive legislation that helps kids/families with one vote dem majorities and coasts with entrenched one party can't

With the talk of NCAA potentially adding a 5th year has Kamari given any thought to playing another year of college basketball with Wisconsin? What is he hearing about this on his end?

Now that B1G teams can legally use bag men for players they've closed the gap with SEC programs who were doing it more widespread all along.

I don't like this deflated version of Fran. The Francon chart has become obsolete. At least we could apply it to Sandfort when he spazzed out last night

Fitting tribute to the life of one Judge David Prosser!

Appreciate Hepburn but feels like I've heard him say some variation of this for four years and usually only after his best performances. Hes very talented but someone who probably needs to pump himself up more than most should and can disappear in big games and moments where his team needs him most

This is probably one of my most "conservative" positions though I think it's progressive as an educator. Cell phones have destroyed schools and student learning. Kids miss out on developing all sorts or skills and it creates negative dynamics between teachers-students when trying to regulate them

Gotta say I think every November tournament should have a title belt for it rather than a trophy!

In Gard we trust! Yeah he's had to muck it up some years and do what it takes to win but feel like he's had his fair share of entertaining teams too since. 2020 could've erased the entire narrative had that tournament not been cancelled. His best team heading into March to this point imo.

Appreciate the aknolewdegment that the program has evolved as opposed to the occasional commentators pre/post game who still talk about the swing offense and "pack line" defense that we have run since Dick Bennett. Btb FF teams were the start of that. He adapts to the talent of team year in/out

Such a lazy take on Wisconsin basketball.. what's Pitt done over the last decade that makes them exciting? Badgers have probably played as many meaningful, relevant and yes "banger" games as any non blue blood program in the country over the last 10 years.
