United States Attorneys are not "President Trumps' Lawyers" They work for the American people.

U.S. early-career researchers struggling amid chaos Uncertain funding, government firings, and distressed universities hit vulnerable groups especially hard www.science.org/content/arti...

So now that folks see how important elections are as 1 of the tools of our democracy, some questions: - do you know when your next LOCAL election is? - are you registered to vote? - do you know who your local officials are? - do you have a plan to vote? - have you talked to your folks about voting?

I have solved Bird Flu. Give the chickens ivermectin. Have the chickens practice Earthing. The problem with their immune systems is they are not touching the soil enough. Coffee enemas for all chickens. Also we must stop reading them Ibram X. Kendi. Eggs will be back and most importantly not gay.

NEW: Pregnancy became far more dangerous in Texas after the state banned abortion, according to ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis, which found the sepsis rate for women hospitalized as they miscarried in the 2nd trimester shot up by more than 50%. https://propub.li/43487Tj

Billionaires are using a loophole to avoid Medicare taxes. Closing it — and eliminating other ways around the tax for wealthy business owners — could raise more than $250 billion over 10 years for the program. (Published Dec. 2024)

Republicans will soon bring forward a “reconciliation” bill, that encapsulates the value system of greed and their obedience to oligarchy. It is the economic essence of Trumpism. It will make the rich richer & the poor poorer. It must be defeated. And we can defeat it.

Courts of law are not Trump's friend because courts require that he (pronoun!) produce actual facts to back up whatever bile bubbles up in his (pronoun!) feeble brain. Courts give us a nice 4-D view into the con Trump is running. We cannot give up the rule of law or we are truly sunk.

say it ain't so!

This reminds me of the first Trump admin, when my dissertation chair was tapped as a candidate to run the Census Bureau; he filed all this paperwork to them and they lost it and asked that he re-send it all (he withdrew his candidacy at the request). The level of incompetence is staggering.

Straight from the mouths of the crooks.

Dear Democratic Party: why are you not screaming this from every rooftop? Why are you not holding press conferences with these poor fired people - putting a face on what the richest man is destroying?

Republicans aren’t hiding anything. Their priorities are written in black and white: trillions of dollars in tax breaks to the rich, while making savage cuts to Medicaid, housing, nutrition and education. The reconciliation bill will make the rich even richer and the poor poorer.

Republicans have no new ideas, only bad ideas resurrected. www.texasobserver.org/molly-ivins-...
