Agreed. And it was so unnecessary. It wasn’t even the same Android. Just the same model. It should have just been a different model and the movie would have been greatly improved.

Trump and Musk are eliminating any part of government that works well, because that undermines their thesis that government doesn’t work.
GSA (which houses 18F) turns a profit as an agency. Naturally it has to be destroyed. 18F’s healthy revenue stream also means it must go.

We need to put what Musk is doing at Trump’s door. Trump is the one who is inflicting Musk on us. Substitute Trump for Musk. Say Trump’s DOGE. People are disconnecting the two in ALL coverage. Trump is responsible for what DOGE, led by Musk, is doing. Words matter.

I don’t agree. Is every first responder with a baby at home a crappy parent? Pete would have to adjust his work life balance like any new parent. But a good story teller should be able to do that without making him a crappy parent.

I also don’t think it was great creatively. It just put Peter back to an earlier era rather than let the character grow. Pete and MJ being married and starting a family would have opened things up to tell new stories with those characters. Instead we just got bachelor Pete again.

They also may not have really saved the $50k. If it wasn’t spent by the time the contract was closed out, it would have been returned anyway.

More politicians should step back starting at age 60. Not that they need to completely disappear from public but they should cede more space to the younger generation.
