Who has those numbers tho? Would they get reassigned if someone is cut in camp or is it up to the players?

The reaction to the Giants signing Darius Slayton was very relatable-I think every sports fan has had that feeling of frustration where your favorite teams actions are dumb and make no logical sense with other things they have done

Absolutely you put him at receiver, maybe let him contribute on defense a little in obvious passing downs if he still wants to try and play both ways a bit.

The answer is clearly never spend money and never get better! You have to build through the draft, everyone knows this but you also have to spend to the cap and when you’ve had a decade of bad drafts, you have roster holes you have to fill in FA or for 2-15 every year

I just don’t think you can say “well this guy got traded for a 6th a year ago he’s now worth $xM or he’s not worth $yM. NFL trades are all over the place when it comes to what picks are being included

FA signings are very different than trades, and trades are heavily dependent on contract details etc so not sure you can really compare. Deebo goes for a 5th and DK for a 2nd, Deebo is 2yrs older but is he that much “worse”?

Their former SF GM liked the guys they had there I guess

I think it just kinda indicates how the NFL sees him, which is basically your replacement level qb. Maybe he can pull a Sam Darnold and elevate that impression, he will look to get that opp on the field

Tbh they took their run at Godwin and he turned them down, Ronnie Stanley took much less to stay in Baltimore so they’ve gone after the guys they could get. Defense probably had more legit talent available as well

I don’t see what Myles Garrett’s deal has to do with Bengals signing Chase and Tee Higgins, they already have said they won’t sign Trey Hendrickson

They held this tournament in Russia and Qatar I think the US is far more equipped than those countries

Love Yoshida he doesn’t deserve the hate he receives and is a much better player than people give him credit for. Not like he’s Pablo Sandoval

Does it matter?

Go Drake! Now get him a line and someone who can win a 50/50 ball

I might be more concerned with Jerod taking over not like he’s called plays before either

Sox kinda represented pats not as much imo (for Boston sports)

That was mostly tongue in cheek but my main point is I don’t see how taking the Pats from a top 10 defense to mid 20s should make anyone a head coaching candidate. The performance of the unit should count for something

NFL Network clearly only watched the Bears game bc it was Drake vs Caleb… Covington is not ready for a head coaching job if we’re judging based on how the defense is being schemed up. Maybe someday he will be but right now I don’t see it at all

It’s fun to watch when they are creating with ball movement, less fun when it’s just iso 3s. They tend to create more looks with movement but it’s a tough watch when that breaks down

The play where Tatum drove and then hockey assisted a huge 3 mid 4th quarter.

They are consistently taking the ball out of Drake’s hands on 2nd and 3rd down instead of just letting him cook. He’s been dealing today and been your best player
