Brilliant - I look forward to reading the eventual report, yet sadly suspect the issues from the previous report are just as prevalent today. Please let me be proved wrong.

I’ve just got this book for my birthday & can highly recommend it. There’s loads of great veggie and vegan recipes in it & they’re all great so far.

Fantastic! UCLAN is about an hour away from me, so if you ever come over to visit I’d be happy to meet and show you around 😊. The PhD midwives group will be even more valuable to you as a distance learner - I’ll tag you into any meet ups etc.

Hi Jane, welcome to Blue Sky. Definitely link in with @phdmidwives.bsky.social activities. It’s a fab supportive global group of PhD and post PhD midwives. We had a lovely end of year meet up today, it would have been fab to see you there. Studying and working over 2 countries..tell us more!

Laura, I hadn’t seen this until now. It’s wonderful & I have immediately saved a copy of it 👏🏽✨. I have a new research project starting in the new year focussing on language needs and perinatal mental health discussions. Would love to chat to you about it sometime.

The accountability of setting a challenge with a friend is really helpful isn’t it? I’ve just got off the cross trainer after making a pact with a friend this morning…we exchange photo evidence from smart watch activity as proof 🤣

Choices like that should never be about money. For either services or individuals. I agree, language is important too. The discussions & opinions are very divided in my friendship and faith groups. It’s such a complex area. We need to get it as right and as safe as possible 🙏🏽

There have been some really well structured and nuanced arguments from both sides. I’ve lost 2 siblings to Huntingtons already & I’m losing another. From my perspective I believe we need excellent palliative AND choice. I think both *could* coexist, but I accept it is complicated.
