I actually cannot believe reviewers did not note this, which I guess is a damning critique of Social Psychological and Personality Science as a journal.

At least two of the supposedly implausible fictitious conspiracy theories are true; namely, that certain religious people (in this case, Christian Republicans) are trying to stage manage the end times in order to bring about some final judgement, & that false flag events happen

you only think you did “enough” because it never occurred to you that the actual building of a more equitable society happens OUTSIDE OF THE VOTING BOOTH.

- your beloved Obeezy was all about deportations. go look up his record on immigration. he was also cool with militarized police, as was “uncle” Joe. Kamala Harris was part of that admin — and she is a “tough on crime” democrat. please stop lying about how bad it got under 45.

- Harris was the least awful choice that ALSO had a solid chance of winning POTUS. that doesn’t mean you did anyone any favors by voting for her. least of all Palestinians. her winning would have changed the conditions under which we live AND how we organized for Palestine, Congo, Sudan, et al.

support the fighters. learn how to observe and record ICE. ask detainees for their names and the best way to get a hold of their loved ones/ emergency contacts.

stop invoking our collective ancestors. just stop it. say with your chest that you don’t care, and MOVE ASIDE so those who do care can get shit done!

every one of you “I voted for Kamala, so I did my job” people deserve to be humiliated. publicly. each kidnapping by ICE makes you one person closer to getting snatched yourself.

do you not understand that this has EVERYTHING to do with us as Black people, because it’s a replication of slave patrols and Black codes? you are involved, whether you like it or not, because it’s being done IN YOUR NAME AS A UNITED STATES CITIZEN.

I find that thought insulting. Like, I know you didn't mean it. But I've seen that point made in earnest. And the thought of protesting state violence with the flag of that state instead of a flag that represents what they're being attacked over is so silly it makes me angry

A lot of powerful men explain away their shitty, predatory behaviour by claiming they just didn't know any better, while simultaneously holding themselves up as intellectual giants. And most of society is still perfectly happy to let them have it both ways.

Literally every day people should wake up look in the mirror and ask themselves if the shit they’ve been saying sounds like MLK’s white moderate

The reality is, that white Latinos are just as racist (if not more) than white people everywhere else. She's not lying, she seriously thought USians will differentiate us by skin colour and will leave the ones alone that look sufficiently European.

Well, now you do know.
