This is horrifyingly correct.

Blimey. One of Nigel Farage's biggest donors, and the owner of 55 Tufton Street, is helping the Russian military effort www.nytimes.com/2025/03/28/w...

Breaking: RFK Jr. has forced out PETER MARKS, the nation’s top vaccine regulator. In his resignation letter, obtained by the Post, Marks said he was willing to work with RFK Jr on his vaccine concerns — but said Kennedy wishes “subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”

if the UK is seen to seek special treatment from the US it will pay a huge price in Europe, Canada and Asia - only to find itself subsequently abandoned and betrayed by an administration that takes pride in humiliating those closest to it.

Trump & Vance keep saying we “need” Greenland for security. But there is no threat to Greenland from Russia or China or any country. If there was a threat, why would the US keep just 150 military personnel in Greenland? (Air Force and Space Force)

1/7. In case you haven’t been following, here is a short summary of the misnamed Russian-American "peace process" regarding Ukraine.

Good question. Why DOES Pete Hegseth have a Russian phone number? 🤨

Whiskey Pete Hegseth has a Russian burner phone which he uses to communicate in secret with someone. 👊🇺🇸🔥

🗣️ “Why don’t you go back to your own country”. US representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene snaps at Sky’s Martha Kelner when asked about the accidental leaking of sensitive messages on Signal. Watch the moment 👇

Ukraine was just knifed in the back. Essential reading on yesterday's deal open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

I had legit completely forgotten this.

Even worse, without my permission, I am contributing to the profits of a company - Meta - which is actively supporting a US President hostile to my country and potentially endangering the democracy I am living in.

With all the words in the english language I cannot possibly convey what it feels like to hear a Russian drone over your head while reading this

All you need to know about Twitter

Russell Brand posted and then deleted a completely fake document which he thought was from the newly released JFK files and proved British actress Penelope Keith, not Lee Harvey Oswald, killed JFK.

Trump envoy dismisses Starmer plan for Ukraine. Steve Witkoff praised Vladimir Putin, saying he "liked" the Russian president. "I don't regard Putin as a bad guy," he said. "He's super smart." - When will Starmer accept Trump’s America isn’t our friend? www.bbc.com/news/article...

Of course it isn’t working. It was never going to lead to anything other than a significant drop in trade with our neighbours. To suggest otherwise, as the Leave campaign did, was fantasy - but plenty of people were gullible enough to fall for the lies.

Elon Musk is now suspending accounts of opposition figures in Turkey for reporting on the massive protests against Erdoğan’s autocratic regime following the arrest of Istanbul’s mayor. “Free speech absolutist” my a$$

President Trump on potential sales of the F-47 aircraft: “Certain allies, we’ll be selling them, perhaps, toned down versions, we’d like to tone them down about 10%, which probably makes sense, because someday, maybe they're not our allies, right?”

We are disappointed but not surprised that Meta has used millions of pirated books to develop its AI systems. As a matter of urgency, Meta needs to compensate the rightsholders of all the works it has been exploiting. But what can authors do? Read here: societyofauthors.org/2025/03/21/t...

My maternal grandmother died in the 1918 flu pandemic. RFK Jr can go fuck himself.

Berlin is investigating whether US immigration policy has changed, after a German national who is a permanent US resident was detained & “violently interrogated” by US border officials. Fabian Schmidt, 34, is being held at a detention center in Rhode Island after attempting to return to his US home.

I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget what Trump did.

Just a reminder...

Streeting is dangerous. He has taken shedloads of donations from private health firms and is promoting NHS privatisation. Not only does the evidence show that NHS privatisation has worse outcomes for patients and is more expensive but voters have never given permission to privatise our NHS.

I mean fine, but it’s only because of France that the United States exists.

This is horrible to post, but I may as well post it. We are essentially shutting down research operations in my group, which is focused on treatments for pediatric brain cancer. I’m a well funded investigator, and there’s no choice. Science can’t function without the stability of NIH

Happy ides of march! Today it is tradition to give the gift of stabbing to would-be dictators 🫶🏻

Russia has kidnapped tens of thousands of Ukrainian children. Putin was indicted for this crime. Yale has a unit searching for them. Musk eliminated the funding. inews.co.uk/news/world/m...

Even after the last few weeks, I am still shocked & horrified to see the US President blithely trading away the land & sovereignty of an ally who fought alongside the US in Iraq (where 18 Ukrainians were killed) & in Afghanistan, while Putin was paying bounties to the Taliban for dead US troops.

America was given a choice between a lawless, amoral monster and a qualified, intelligent, joyful woman of color—and it chose the monster. We need to reckon with the reality of what that says about so many of us here. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/america-ch...

if you buy used books and want to avoid amazon where possible, check out bookfinder.com you can search essentially every marketplace in one go so you can, e.g., find the same used copy for sale, from the same seller, on biblio.com or ebay instead of amazon or abe (owned by amazon)

This shows you that Donald Trump isn’t bothered by the illegal use of force, war crimes, the bombing of civilian targets, and the kidnapping of children. At least not when Vladimir Putin does it. That’s sociopathic.

Dear BBC the USA is not ‘stepping up pressure on Ukraine to agree a peace deal’. It is taking Russia’s side in the war.

"You're not supposed to be asking that question ... that's enough" -- Trump gets mad at and shuts down a reporter who tries to ask him about reported clashes between Musk and Rubio

Ukraine has supplied the U.S. with extensive intelligence and vast amounts of data on Russian technology, captured equipment, battlefield operational guides, weapon performance, and countermeasures against US provided systems. A shame no one seems to remembers or appreciates it

I find it hard to believe that the Russian counteroffensive in Kursk and reactivation of missile salvoes from its Black Sea Fleet wasn’t planned with the expectation Trump would blind Ukraine by cutting off intelligence and satellite reconnaissance

What this means is American satellites will see Russian bombers carrying missiles taking off, bound for Ukrainian hospitals, power and transport infrastructure, and they will intentionally choose to sit on their hands rather than warn them it’s coming.

If the Trump administration are capable of doing this to get Ukraine to the table, they are capable of doing it again if Ukraine doesn't agree to whatever "peace" arrangement the US and Russia have decided on. Ukraine and its allies need to plan on that assumption. www.axios.com/2025/03/05/u...

Watching Trump say "one way or another" the US is going to get Greenland - a rather clear threat of annexation by force against an ally - is nauseating. To hear Congress laugh and applaud such a statement means they have debased themselves and the United States of America.
