It’s so blatant now it becomes ridiculous to even point it out

I don’t think the first games combat was ‘terrible’ but the sequel has streamlined the systems to make it more familiar, like having only 5 swing directions.

Also No Man’s Sky has sold so many copies at this point they aren’t a typical indie game, the reason they are able to keep updating the game is because of the vast amount of money and resources they can sink into it.

This update hasn’t changed any worlds just added more. It’s not really a big selling point the number of world, just that the new world added are different biomes and with new features (gas giants, water worlds, realistic oceans that are kilometres deep)

Yep, what happened with Diablo IV was so funny. Have the players that play for 12 hours a day 365 days of the year posting about how much the game sucks and then they drive off the casuals that would have otherwise loved it and grown the community and scope of expansions.

I always sound hyperbolic when discussing Outer Wilds but I genuinely think the ending sequence pushes it to ‘generationally important piece of art’ territory. When I had finished and taken a pause I knew that the game would become one of the foundational texts in studying the medium.

My TikTok is almost exclusively things I’m interested in and like to see. It took me too long to realise that Twitter was the opposite and it became obvious why.

Politics aside, Twitter is just so overwhelmingly confrontational now that I don’t understand how people have the energy in their lives to want to deal with it.
