Trump/Putin are an evil replica of the 1950s stereotyped television couple. Trump is hanging around, waiting on the man of the house to give him direction and accepting any lie his man tells. Can’t wait to see the next meeting with Trump wearing his apron with a martini in hand for his controller.

How long will it be before the Mark Twain prize is replaced with the DW Griffith prize honoring those who ensure that insurrection, racism, and the destruction of democracy is reflected in our creative arts?

Will the Trump/Musk oligarchy consider it a violation of the law when others use any means necessary to save our country from them?

Common sense?!? I think when he says common sense he means racism and misogyny. His “common sense” is that people of color and women are grossly incompetent and can’t be trusted. At least he’s consistent with that theme. My common sense says he is a bully and a liar or maybe that is objective fact.

Began his administration by immediately undermining and dissolving the systems that maintain our aviation, transportation and environmental safety/security so hope his supporters aren’t scratching their heads too much when we begin to see the results of those decisions. Elections have consequences.

With his desire to focus on the 50s and 60s, including the rollback of civil rights, women’s rights, LGBTQ rights to pre-1965 will the next executive order require that all television couples sleep in separate beds and never say the word “ pregnancy”and all actors must be white or racial stereotypes

I hope the Democrats pursue an unrelenting media campaign against any Republican running in the special elections to fill the current vacancies in the house with the theme of “blood on their hands“ with a roll call of the killed and maimed officers. Not a time to hold back to fight extremism.

We’re constantly told how “smart“ this oligarch is so surprising that he doesn’t understand that a Nazi salute by a person who supports neo Nazis may be cause others to believe that his salute was intentional and his beliefs are intertwined with Nazi ideology.

We seem to be witnessing the dissolution of our democracy in real time. The allegiance of the oligarchs who control much of the information and capital in our country will be seen as one of the first steps to establishing an autocracy.

So much for all this talk of being tough! I guess “going hard“ doesn’t include tolerating cold weather. This move serves as reminder that tough talk is always the veneer for a weak and insecure person.

In an attempt to preserve their wealth, power and influence, the American oligarchs have swiftly rallied and chosen fascism over facts.

My wish would be that every article written in the next 4 years would note that after attempting to overthrow our democracy in 2021, Trump assumed power in 2025 and freed an army of insurrectionists. Is the rise in fascism the world saw in the 1920s being replicated and will the results be the same?

We knew the Trump‘s were all about political Nepo babies, but a Nepo baby senator – another corruption first.

“You had some very fine people on both sides” may have been seen as approval by the neo-Nazis.

Would prefer to see an article on his four-point plan for HHS:
1. Decrease access to affordable health coverage
2. Decrease access to proven medicines
3. Decrease access to preventative healthcare
4. Increase death rate and disease burden for all Americans

Maybe we can use Brazil’s judicial system as a model to rebuild ours after the next administration destroys it.

We remain in trouble as long as Trump continues to apply his two selection criteria for cabinet appointments – 1. Gross incompetence and 2. Accusations of sexual assault
