Everything Covid does to adults, it does to kids. We’re headed for a mass disabling event that will leave many of us & your kids unable to do the things we love or even work to support ourselves & govt will not support you. There aren’t even effective treatments for Long Covid so prevent it & mask 😷

Thank you, David! I can’t tell you how many times I have used that phrase since hearing it from you.
@theresisters.bsky.social needs to have you back on for updates and further convo about #LongCovid, if you’re amenable.
We’ll be returning to the airwaves soon!

I just watched Dr. Melanie Walker's talk on the Vagus Nerve at the @polybiorf.bsky.social Spring Symposium yesterday morning.
Excellent talk that sparks my curiosity.
Will be very interesting to see what she finds in Vagus Nerve specimens.

BTW, I think Mike's chart is based on Table S7 in the supplementary XLSX file (available on the Nature<.>com page linked above).

Dr. Fiona Havers—
We applaud your courage.
We can only imagine what it took to step away from a job we love and a mission we believe in.
Thank you for standing up. Thank you for speaking out.
We hope to see you back at CDC—when science is allowed to lead again. 🫶
