You don't seem to understand. Preaching to the choir gets us nowhere. It's the problem you and the other MSNBC people had and (one of the reasons) why Harris lost. Do the right thing. Talk about RESISTANCE. What can be done! Not a continual replay of why Trump is wrong.

Or we need a new viable 3rd party. Where are the Federalists? Whigs? Know-Nothings? Republican-Democrats? etc. All gone.

Garland was a complete disaster. www.amazon.com/Jan-Justice-...
Biden's biggest mistake was (1) appointing him and (2) not removing him when he saw what a poor job he did.

True,m but I think it's also important to post where right-wing MAGA people can see some facts, even if it disturbs them and they deny it.

Everything will be higher a year from now. The only reason that changes is a recession or depression.

I think the data indicates that women are still not really "equal" in any true sense.

Not sure what that means. The US has more of almost everything, so if our military budget is also more, what does that really mean? And who would get the military contracts? schools? lawyers? city workers? You're usually on target. This is just nonsense!

Not doing such a good job so far. Better to say "Even though he's in the Oval Office we can defeat him by (Fill in the blanks). IMO action is better than banter.

For years we have been doing this, esp. in cities near the ocean that risk being swamped. Yet water levels keep rising (Lake Kangerlussuaq can eventually raise water levels 20+ feet). Stopping this is very complex, multi-layered, and requires major changes in how we live. What are the chances?

Agree, however, not sure 100 mph winds are capable of being defeated, nor are we anywhere near being able to avoid drought conditions. The causes of the extensive fires are not so simply taken care of. IMO Truth be told we know what to do with greenhouse gases etc but people simply won't do it.

Even though the courts gave them unprecedented leniency, back home they suffered lost jobs, divorce, ostracism, loss of privileges, family breakdowns, suicide, etc. www.amazon.com/Jan-Justice-...

Not sure how "the California incompetents" are responsible for a drought followed by 100 mile an hour winds. But if they control the rainfall and the winds that sounds like they are pretty competent.

Hoover was a disaster. He got only 37% when he ran against Roosevelt for a second term. Many blamed him for the Depression.

"hated" is a strong word. Both Johnsons were very unpopular, though Lyndon did a pretty good job as President even while alienating almost everyone except Black people.Buchanan was attacked by both North and South. Lincoln was truly hated so much so that they killed him.

Hitler did the same. Also brought on board Mussolini and the Japanese.

Note the states with highest poverty (red) are mostly GOP voting while lowest poverty (green) are Dem voting.

Low income states are in red, high income states in green. Note that most high income states are Dem voting and most low income states are GOP voting.

High gun-owning states are in red. Low gun-owning states are in green. Notice that most high gun-owning states are GOP voters and most low-owning states are Dem voters.

I think that's my point. GOP voters are more dependent on state and federal subsidies and contribute less to state and federal incomes. They are an economic drain on the nation. That doesn't make them "bad" or "evil" but it is what the data shows.

I couldn't agree more. I'm an independent. I wish we had a viable third party. As Shakespeare once wrote - "A pox on both your houses."
