And the judge has already called bullshit on that. So it seems a bit bold to keep trying it. It seems like holding individuals in contempt is the only thing that's going to resolve this. Each day that man is held there is too many.

So they're basically arguing "Not our problem since El Salvador has custody now"? That's how it sounds to me.

This time of year is so tough for me as the allergy season stuff just exacerbates my migraines in both frequency and intensity. No cat here to alleviate the frustration, though. So thanks for sharing yours.

I agree completely, but what exactly is the typical punishment when a federal agency just fails to comply? I haven't paid enough attention to this stuff previously to know what the precedent is.

Pretty sure that the US federal government should have the ability to multitask a bit.

Because after spending a week aiming a gun at America's dick, he opted to just shoot us in the kneecap instead. So there's some temporary feeling of relief before reality sets in.

Of all the wild Ancient Greek torture myths, I'm really coming around to Cassandra's being the cruelist.

Now that he's pissed off Silicon Valley, time to move onto pissing off the pharmaceutical industry. At the rate he's going, this is going to turn into the finale for Road House, but with a group of angry billionaires.

But if asked about it, he'd suddenly conflate the show with hoagies, while some people call them subs, although we don't have enough subs now because Biden ran out of torpedos, and now the torpedoes, I hear some people say they're using them as baseball bats...

I think they honestly thought he was just playing to his base to get elected, apparently missing the whole history of his actual business ventures.

So we've gone from succes on Day 1, to a brief period of pain, to two years, and now maybe by the end of the term?

I'm not sure how great the rich will be doing when nobody can afford to buy their products anymore.

It seems like a hell of a defense to say you can't do anything to correct a screw-up like this after the fact and also state that these people aren't entitled to due process before they're taken out of the country.

And semi-related, not every Mission: Impossible movie should involve the main characters going rogue. Just have a compelling mission. It worked every week in the show for years.

Not everybody that likes games is an asshole. A lot of us just want to enjoy fun games and this news kinda sucks.

This is so frustrating. I'm sure now they're debating whether it hurts more to have limited stock at launch for $450, or lower demand at launch for $550. I know they've been pre-shipping units to the US to get ahead of this, but no way is there enough for a full launch here yet.

I wish someone would try to pin Trump down on what his actual goal is here. "Stop ripping is off" sounds nice, but is vague. Make him state specific policies he wants other countries to agree to. Make his spokespeople give actual concessions they're asking for.

They can express concern. I can't wait to see all the concern on full display.

Even if nothing is classified, you'd think circumventing records laws would be worth a mention at least.

For a hot second, I thought there was a movie called "The Three Musketeers & The Towering Inferno" that I somehow missed and desperately needed to see.

That music and just sheer energy of the initial launch as the first level starts is so good. Also, I thought the secret level was the absolute coolest thing when I got there as a kid.

Turns out a whole lot of the American system of government is built on gentlemen's agreements. When nobody in charge is a gentleman, it all sort of falls apart.
