I'm home sick with Coxsackie virus. I'm feeling terrible and very sorry for myself. 😞 Working on a Scourie slouch hat (by Woolly Wormhead). I find knitting these sideways hats very soothing. Need to build up my supply of hats, mitts, and cowls for the next school year. 🧶

I just got a message from a specialist (MD) I saw a couple days ago with the opening, "Hi Ms Nope," blah blah blah. I responded with, "It's actually Dr. Nope, but you can call me FirstName" blah blah blah. I don't want him to feel bad, and I don't usually play that card, but I'm in a mood today.

Panda Express banning employees from wearing masks because mask wearing goes against their "hospitality philosophy" (though the ban even includes their back-of-the-house employees). Good things they're not a food service company, and their employees get unlimited sick leave. Whoops!
