Jared Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez can be excused, as their districts are so Trumpy that it’s freakish they’re in the D column.
As for the others? Primary all of them.

Basing my hopes on the stupidity of his administration, and the wild nature of revolutions. Trump is moving too fast, stumbling as he races toward this.
He likely fails, or we end up with a third thing.
He has fucked up everything he has ever done.

I have myeloma, an incurable blood cancer that recent research breakthroughs in immunotherapy were looking like they could actually cure myeloma on a par with leukemia and lymphoma. All that has come to a screeching halt now.
To add insult to injury, I'm on AHCCCS the shitty right wing layer of /1

i simply do not understand those of you who look at the white house and say to yourselves, “these are hyper competent people who are executing a sophisticated plan with high odds for success”

what i see is a white house whose ambitions outstrip its resources, who did not count on facing mass resistance, and which is scrambling to escalate the situation in hopes that a display of force will make people shut up

Psst. This is a distraction from King Hegseth’s sharing of war plans over Signal - pass it on.

So many MS-13 in the DC Bar. They have sleeper agents everywhere, it seems.

This is like NYT framing federal demamds for Trump to return classified docs from Mar-a-Lago as a “dispute.”
Yeah, like the dispute between Ted Bundy and the criminal justice system.

the main problem is that they don't reject Bob Dylan when it happens, so you still have to listen to the spasmodic gurglings and metallic honkings of admiration - just barf-bag stuff

Looks as if MS-13 are playing a long game, planting sleeper agents in law schools and populating 90% of the DC Bar.

Mexican flags are completely benign to me, and the First Amendment trumps
optics, but I don’t get why some are
saying we should shut up about optics.
Righteousness doesn’t carry the day on its own: this photo has been a ball-and-chain for Palestinians for 53 years, no matter how unfair.

Progressives: Hammering DNC idiots around the clock with well-deserved criticism of their poor grasp of communication, including optics and symbols.
Also progressives: “How dare you point out that symbols and optics matter! The righteousness of my cause is all that’s needed!”

So you’re saying I shouldn’t wave a hammer & sickle and Jolly Roger if I’m trying to persuade, even though my subculture thinks they’re cool?
Next you’re going to tell me my huge face tattoos might hurt in a job interview.

Surely if she waves a Mexican flag and the Jolly Roger while wearing a hammer-and-sickle t-shirt - all very cool and acceptable in my subculture - it will not hurt her approval to South Carolina voters one bit.
Anyone who doesn’t believe me is just showing their ignorance of Los Angeles culture!

It’s unsurprising in non-technical managers, but inability to grasp computational complexity and diminishing returns is rampant among even software developers, who often buy Teslas and worship blockchain technology.
Unhappily, they also think they can design databases.

And people wonder why I can't stand Oprah. She's the reason we are dealing with assholes like Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz. She platformed them.
comment in response to

Gonna piggyback on your comment, because I never miss an Oprah pile-on: Let’s not forget Jenny McCarthy, platformed by Oprah to spew her anti-vax nonsense. Oprah praised her for “living her truth.”

Abysmal messaging is a feature of the U.S. protest movement.
Iraq War protests included many Free Mumia signs, as well as decidedly uncomfortable middle-aged people in the crowd, truly disgusted by the war but wondering why the speaker was a Communist raging about injustice in El Salvador.

Eureka! We’ve solved the Cybertruck’s sales issues.
Just include a cool-looking tow truck to pull it around everywhere.

Well-meaning progressives, after 45 years of having their asses handed to them by GOP using symbolism and clever packaging:
“Our ideas are right - therefore Bernie would have won. Ooh, that stupid DNC has no idea how to win!”

it would be nice if, just once, radiation treatments turned someone into Godzilla, as science says
who wouldn’t want atomic breath and nice crunchy bits of Tokyo underfoot? you can munch on jets out at the airport and everything

I think people are sleeping on how catastrophically bad ICE morale is right now.

Around 1998, most people within the penumbra of tech knew Andreesen was a monster. Then he hired PR firms and ducked into the crowd at the parade of douchebags, becoming a benign eccentric in the eyes of the public and media.
Oops.

They prioritize not offending white Republicans above all else. Calling, say, Nixon and Kissinger fascists for sugarcoating My Lai or helping fascists around the world is bad.
Because it hurts the feelings of voters we must be nice to, no matter whom they support.
