The dream ending is the biggest cop out without question. I dislike non-endings, when there is no conclusion to any story elements. Yes, I get the concept of life goes on, but it’s doing disservice to the reader’s investment in the story. Rushed endings are frustrating, too.

I halve and brine them, coat them in olive oil, salt, pepper, and various other seasonings and then roast them until they start to crisp. Freaking amazing flavor!
