Ah, ok. Falk's book shows them on the mainland, but not near you. I'm red/green colour blind so the subtlety of the colouring is lost on me. Still think she's gorgeous though. 😊

We've only water left in the largest butt. Bit of a half heated thunder storm here, but not much rain fell. It does feel ominous for summer doesn't it. 🤞 I read somewhere that it was the diet start to the year in 70yrs.

The article you linked does explain the situation well in the U.S., from what I understand of it. Their lack of response to it becoming established in the cattle is really concerning.

It's been pretty bad in the UK. In the wild it decimated some colonies last year, will see how it turns out this year. Farming wise then this article has a summary. As someone who keeps chickens it's all a bit worrisome! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
