1) In my case, a few million people were all without AC at the same time. I don't think there are millions of Home Depot display chairs, and even so, it would be noticed.
2) Businesses, and even public facilities, run off homeless people all the time.

Yep. It's basically an initiation into the daily lives of the homeless. Needless to say, I don't like it one bit, and experiencing it only increases my empathy for anyone without housing or even with housing but without proper cooling. (Good on you for helping your pregnant neighbor!)

This is so true. I live in Houston and have had numerous weather related extended power outages in insanely hot & humid conditions. Within 24 hours, it becomes a desperate imperative to find ice and cooling.

Well, they didn't know why they supported Reagan any more than they do Trump. It's always been reactionary vibes, and they didn't know or remember anything then, as they don't now.

Yeah, and the 112th best all-time single playoff PPG in NBA history, and his PPG average is down from last year's playoffs.

Not to mention, really gross in slow-mo. Assuming that's a severe calf strain, I had that a couple years ago, and the initial pain is searing. Then I recovered for 2 months, went back out, and almost immediately did it again.

I think DONALD TRUMP was met with boos and chanting when Bernie delivered this news.

Trump was +7 on immigration in the lead up to the election (52/45)

I don't believe any of these people are actually federal agents. At best, they may have been (illegally) deputized by ICE. What Federal agency sends their people out like they just bought their entire wardrobe at Walmart?

Why would immigration be "THE best issue for Donald Trump" when, in fact, he has no actual policy, just theatrical terrorism of the migrant and student visa communities.

My faves in the parody + homage genre:
▪️Big Lebowski (hard-boiled detective caper)
▪️Burn After Reading (deep state spy thriller)
▪️Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (noir)
▪️The Player (mystery thriller)

The information doesn't get through to them, and even if it could, they're too poisoned to receive it.

Is that "tactical" shit in his pants, or just regular shit in his pants?

True, he deserves termination.

I hate this. The Left coalesces around ethically and empirically correct thought. There are only a few ways to be right about an issue, and an infinite number of ways to be wrong. Wider diversity of lies, bigotry, and corruption isn't a sign of open mindedness, it's a sign of cruelty and stupidity!

Is it just West Wing brain that causes all this institutional deference to the regime? It seems like they all probably despise Trump and MAGA, but can't separate it from their reverential Sorkinist fantasy of Washington politics and the presidency.

How fucking jaded and shitty does one have to be to act like this is just a stunt? Fuck anyone who's too cool for school right now.

Wrong, Tim. You don't debate fascists. There is no common ground to be found, and I sure as hell won't shake one's hand.

There's no contrast between Christian/white supremacy and political violence against liberals. In fact, they go hand in hand.

What kind of a post is this? Why not simply say the HHS Secretary is basing policy on ancient superstition that was scientifically discredited 150 years ago?
