Well, that just sucks, for Halli, for the Pacers, for us the viewers, for the NBA.

Finally, a Holy War I can join

Happy Juneteeth, a day "fraught" with emotion, from bitter remembrance of our original sin of slavery, to joyous commemoration of its ending. On this day, America honors the lives & memory of the enslaved, and ought to reflect on reparations still owed toward achieving racial justice in our society.

seen some people complaining that this is a political stunt and lemme say if this was the kind of political stunt more politicians were doing on a regular basis we wouldn't be where we are today dude is actually putting himself on the line here, fuck off with that shit

See this for what it is. An authoritarian regime and its secret police are targeting political enemies and marginalized people they have vilified and dehumanized. We're in it, folks. Deep, deep in it. Fascism. Stop dancing around it. Stop playing games. Give up all remaining denial. We're in it.

Okay, Thunder are the best team, Pacers are the most difficult to beat team.

Proud to cross-endorse with Michael Blake and to be ranked #2 on his ballot. We can turn the page on Andrew Cuomo's politics of disgrace with unity.

Same energy

ICE is attempting to deport an Atlanta-based Spanish-language reporter from El Salvador who has been covering their immigration abductions. He has legal work authorization and a path to a green card. This is pretty obviously an assault on the free press. www.ajc.com/news/2025/06...

This is continued journalistic malpractice from the @startribune.com normalizing a violent white male suspect. He owned a private security company called Praetorian Guard, traveled overseas to preach against abortion and LGBTQ+ people, and attended a bible college that preaches "violent prayer."

When I die I’d like the @nytimes.com editorial board to lower me into my grave so I can be let down one last time.

I just like to post these data from time to time to puncture the mythological aura of mid 20th c protests. They were less popular than pretty much any 21st c mass action & people criticizing them used the same lines. Protest is about people coming together, shaping narratives, & building power.

A survey of every march ever written indicates that 120 bpm is way too fast to march to. I like how one unit is marching in earnest with the beat using tiny little steps, while the following unit is just swaggering along in disheveled fashion. Pretty obvious we only fight using drones these days.
