I feel like even just a little more of this, and a little less of the constant backbiting "influencer drama" would drastically improve the internet.
All it requires is pausing, breathing deep, and going "wow, my behaviour was shit. Doesn't excuse the other person, but I contributed to the problem.

I've always found managers excellent at consuming man hours to have something incredibly basic explained to them. It's one of their top skills, along with sorting the paperwork *just right*, failing to CC anything, and generally intimidating the peasants into a more pleasantly meek attitude.

I massively respect you and what you're trying to do, but I cannot personally run for an elected office in this system and retain my ethics and morals. I'll do everything I can to help folks out, and part of that is not enabling the power structure they're caught in an abusive relationship with.

Authoritarian power structures have proven their limits in excessive detail.
Alternatively, we stop continuing to feed the machine and instead work on building a replacement while this one collapses, so that as it does, the people are lifted up, and out by a system that doesn't believe in rulers.

I really hope our northern cousins don't assume we wanted this. ~30% were poorly educated enough to vote against their best interests, ~30% made a choice to improve things, and ~40% aren't sure the world exists outside of what they can directly see at any given moment.

With USB it's likely that either your headset or motherboard is relatively cheap and is picking up interference from the other signals on the same bus.
If your mouse and headset are both Bluetooth they're likely using the same frequency and interfering, there may be settings you can change.

Are your headphones plugged in via USB or 3.5mm jack?
If it's USB then try different ports and hope for one with an isolated power circuit.
If it's 3.5mm then it's probably just a loose solder joint, and a 5 minute fix will have you sorted.
If it's Bluetooth then check how noisy it is EMF-wise.

Probably because the post is worded as patronizing and dismissive, when the correct course of action is to educate and inform, not mirroring the morons that "led" us to this point, which is what the post emulates. Most people are unlikely to be aware *why* they instinctively bristle at the post.

I believe we spent the last ~50 years popularizing Self-Care and hygiene. Also beards made a comeback in a big way, and they actively make you look younger. AMAB folks tend to have slightly longer hair than used to be the norm, which also contributes to the illusion. You're only aging ~5% slower.
