I'll swing at this: Trump saw Musk as useful, not principled. What made him tick didn't matter. Also, this question reasonably begs the question, that in this administration, drug use is a bad thing. Also this:

I remember it as a horror, but I just looked it up and a gallop pole shortly after the shooting showed 58% blamed the students and 11% blamed the national guard. So at best it was at first a complicated response.

When does the verse about the Ohio National Guard come back around?

I may have to switch to my other account to express how much I get this...

Feeling perfectly willing to, at this time, tramp around in my own world of double negatives - isn't 'dethaw' simply the act of plugging the freezer back in?

That's about the most profoundly true statement I've read and it echos the beliefs of our founders.

Trump is investing in himself: his power and his fortune.

...and she didn't whatsoever care - defiant. This new normal is not the 'better place' I'd like to leave this world.

So, we are doing basically exactly what the Nazis did but more expertly.

😶 Maybe we need to *all* go to law school, or maybe just pay attention in Civics. What now, civil war?

What's the joke where the guy ends up in heaven because God didn't save him? "I sent policeman,a fireman, and a helicopter to save you. What are you doing here?"

Hanlon's Razor may well explain this.

Oh, Sweety. He's going to hurt you over and again...this, our president. Different dress, different makeup.

My hole is twitching. Actually I think it's trying to run away - in fact, I know it is.

The U.S. Constitution grants Congress the power to regulate foreign commerce in Article I, Section 8, Clause 3. "The Congress shall have Power To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;". Vote responsibly. Lobby.

I think I agree with you fully but I want to paint a little darker: I think he's behaving like a Manchurian Candidate, bent on actually harming US at the prospect of feathering his own nest. I think he's being helped, both by people who know what he's doing and those blissfully unaware.
