This art is a newly created art for the cover of my art book. The size of the original is A4, which is a large size for me. #Illustration #CommentPls #RTpls

Envious to all who can attend Malcolm’s stuff!

We've nearly got 500 people signed up on the pre-launch page... and this baby is live NEXT WEEK! COME! JOIN US!

@theorah.bsky.social I hope when Robespierre is finished I’ll be able to get a physical copy! I’m guessing that is way in the future - but any plans?

Somehow, the future is both going to be a dystopian techno sci-fi hellscape AND we're gonna have coal and measles and robber barons and a permanent underclass. Philip K. Dickens

Bad news y’all. It’s national unicorn day

So is the #nzpol pattern: 1. Minority Green MP on the front pages = secretive middle-aged white guy running hate campaign shopping stories to media, story will run and run despite being about nothing;

Biggest commitment to a 3 second joke I've ever seen

Apparently anyone can nominate work for the Ringo awards. If you like Blind Alley, Brambles, or The Gulf...be my guest! :o) ringoawards.com

A cat staring at the ground. The cat stares at a strange green creature and a very small blue butterfly. What is this? #Illustration #CommentPls #RTpls

We could spend 10% of GDP on defence and if a superpower decided to go for us, we wouldn't stand a chance. Lange's anti-nuclear argument holds up, 40 years on. Why are we doing this? To make the US & Australia happy? $12 billion to appease them? Why wasn't that money there for ferries or hospitals?

Context: 2% GDP spend on R&D has been mooted for *forty years*, $3 billion a year on science would nearly quadruple the AoNZ govt science budget, we could afford to hire pretty much every single qualified and interested person in the country to do research. Can you even imagine 🧪

I always joke that "the moral of the film Titanic is don't hit an iceberg", but Threads really had a very specific and clear message that "if you have a nuclear war there is no hope for anybody"

This tiger is said to be a rare color. Usually they are yellow, but this one is white. They don't know why it was born white. #Illustration #CommentPls #RTpls

If you think this can’t happen, remember that of the 125,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during WWII for years without charge or trial, two-thirds were U.S. citizens. Including me.

For fucks sake, 90% opposed to the TPB does not indicate ’deep divisions in our society’ as stated by this reporter. It shows remarkable cohesion from a wide range of the political spectrum against the 8% of bigots and racists in ACT and Hobson’s Pledge #nzpol thespinoff.co.nz/atea/04-04-2...

The only sensible plan remains what it was before the announcement: disentangle and distance yourself from the U.S. as much as possible.

@dylanhorrocks.bsky.social @fromthemorgue.bsky.social So you know how I’ve been saying I have ‘enough games’ (well, sorta) & I should stop buying them…

I spoke with nearly two dozen creatives and publishers in the tabletop industry today. It's bad. It's real bad.

I have tariffed the penguins that are on Heard Island and which you were probably assuming did not export goods forgive me they were taking advantage of us so cunning and so cold

Hang on, the select committee had wrapped its report a month before the deadline? That makes deciding to ditch a quarter of a million people's submissions even worse. How did they choose which ones to read?

First post! This is a site I made that lets you compare the net worth of billionaires and corporations to the GDP of entire countries. Take a look! I want to raise awareness of the scale. There are many people and companies with more wealth than the annual output of nations. Let’s fix it.

It’s 9am TFT time here, and citizens are already gathering to protest Tariffs by the United States. Our plain clothes Officer Penguins are attempting to maintain calm, but unfortunately we keep losing them in the crowd.

Since the US is violating the USMCA, I am looking forward to Canada reversing the US-imposed copyright term extension, reverting to a civilised life+50 years, and getting themselves some free Tolkien before they sign it all away again to the EU.

NZ, a country that hasn't had any tariffs (for anyone) for 40 years and has been battling US tariffs for all that time, looking on as an orange fuckwit slaps us with another 10% for no reason at all: #nzpol

“A.I. makes art accessible.” Art has always been accessible. There was like a six month period where I drew all the sketches for my comics with a lined notebook from the grocery store and a random green marker.

USA’s near abroad? Canada, Greenland, Panama? Isn’t Russia’s near abroad, in similar logic include: Alaska (USA), South Korea (near half the distance the US is to Panama by my reckoning), Iceland ?

Featuring comment from me. Said comment being, basically, it's bad for Parliament to throw out submissions you've solicited from the public unread, whether it's the TPB w/ 300k subs, or a boring technical tax tweak with 15. Corrosive to democracy and the Committee should reconsider.

And there you have it: their (arbitrary, self-set) timeline is more important than our democracy. Vote these people out, and cut parliament's term! www.rnz.co.nz/news/nationa...

The travelers finally saw the goal, a huge giant tree. Suddenly, however, enemies rained down from overhead and the battle began. This is a common development in fantasy games! I want to win and get to that big tree. #Illustration #CommentPls #RTpls

I’ve only been here a few hours and met some lovely people already. Thank you for saying hello. Thought I’d drop in one of my favourite photos. It helped win me a portfolio commendation in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards. Taken in a snowstorm on the slopes of Arthur’s Seat.
