Trump doesn't understand even the basics of economics, so a downturn is very likely.

We British know a Nazi when we see one!

I saw the video. The rudeness from Trump and Vance was very evident, and Zelensky was patient and tired to be polite in his 3rd language.

Thank goodness for the National Defense Authorization Act 2024 which now prevents Trump from withdrawing from NATO without approval of 2/3rds of the Senate.

The Finns have been preparing for war with Russia since 1940, so they are very capable now.

Musk is very unpopular in the UK. Tesla sales are dropping like a stone. He is his own worst enemy.

The British people like the Canadians, and will support you against the USA. I speak as a Brit with fond memories of Canada.

Deer are the most hazardous birds? That's a new one to me.

Tesla could easily lose 80% of its value this year. It would still be on a p/e ration of 28, which is higher than many solid companies.

But there are good European alternatives in most cases.

Most companies just want the money. They won't follow the politics unless they are forced to.

This meeting is very 1970s. I think the US and Russia will learn that they don't run the world anymore.

The UK & EU should do two things. 1. Reject the US/Russia plan (as an when there is one). 2. Come up with the funds for the Ukraine to buy all the weapons it needs. The US defense companies will sell to us (for onward supply to Ukraine) if we have the hard cash.

We are not going to be attacked by France or Germany. We might as well send the entire army to Ukraine to defend against the UK's only dangerous enemy, Russia.

I am so glad that I have had all my flu and other vaccinations. They prevent the diseases, and this evidence that it protects the brain makes it even better.

The biggest financial commitment to Ukraine has come from the EU ($93m), more than the USA ($75m), so the EU should be leading the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

No need to have elections during a war. Britain cancelled its General Election in 1940 for the same reason.

The destruction of artillery has gone up substantially in the last few days. Is there a specific reason?
comment in response to post
The UK cancelled its General Election in 1935 because it was at war, though no part of the UK was occupied (except the Channel Islands). Ukraine is quite justified in delaying elections until there is peace.
comment in response to post
The UK cancelled the 1940 election as it was at war. So there was no election between 1935 and 1945.

Bill Gates has no connection with Bovaer. Check your facts rather than just scare-mongering.
