I've used one for nearly 20 years and won't go back. The first was from Evoluent that lasted 15+ years. Then I got an Anker that lasted a few months (bad scroll wheel). Currently using a Lekvey that's going strong after 2 years.

My husband is a geneticist. We got info from a legit medical school asking if we'd submit samples of our DNA for an autism study. He refused, saying that DNA registries *could* be used to deny medical coverage based on "potential" flags for other issues. Now I'm doubly glad we didn't sign up.

If I'd known BCBS were going to be jerks about this, I would have put the kids on my husband's insurance with a "worse" carrier.
God, I hope this gets sorted quickly...

We've sent the diagnosis from 2 years ago (no good, too old, done by a CNP - which was fine with UHC). Sent an eval from the therapy center. Sending on his IEP from school...

Sickening. But sadly, not surprising.

Yikes. I really don't understand comedians who use bigotry as humor. I guess it's the easy way out. :(

100% true. Also, a former coworker of mine moved his family to WI to work there after they promised him better healthcare on Day One for his ailing wife and WFH when she was sick. He got there and found there was a 90-day probationary period with no healthcare at all. They're the worst.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was amazing to hear you, to watch history, to listen to TRUTH being spoken and being spoken loudly. You give me hope that our country isn't lost. And you're 100% correct: it's not left vs right, it's right vs wrong.

I haven't shopped there since their DEI coward drop. I was already pissed at them for what they did with Pride last summer. I don't plan on going back. Costco and Meijer can get my money.

For the record, I laughed. This is the kind of Epic Trolling my sister excels at doing.

I like when she said the song was 10 minutes but felt like hours. You can tell SOMEONE never went to a Grateful Dead concert.
(Sitting through one of those concerts sober we WAS a chore, though.)

"they played an almost entirely instrumental song that felt like being trapped in purgatory for its ten-minute-plus run."
What would she have thought of a Grateful Dead show?

I had a friend who'd walk up to people and just sing "You do the jitterbug <snap snap>" and walk away, just to ruin their days.

I hate this song so much. My sister made a Christmas playlist for me once and it was just, like, 32 different versions of this song. Every genre imaginable. Different languages. Insufferable.

So much fun! And so much better on a big screen with good sound!

The CW streamer is free on my phone, so I'll be watching TV while I work tomorrow.
You may also want to see if you have access to Hoopla through your library. I just found out the have the Ken Burns Civil War docuseries AND the new Interview with the Vampire show.

I'm a huge fan of the SciFi Channel shows for this purpose. The CW streaming channel has a bunch that might qualify. Eureka, Grimm, Flash Gordon, Eerie Indiana, Merlin, Reaper, the Librarians, Beastmaster, Blade... We get it for free with our cable, and there's a ton of random stuff on there

Oh Tiara, I'm so sorry for this loss. Please give my condolences to A as well. Remember that you gave him a wonderful life full of warmth and love and I'm sure he wanted for nothing. It doesn't make it hurt any less. 😥

Hey Canada, this American wants you to know you are awesome and I hope you never change. Except maybe to get even better snack foods, because you have the best snacks. Never 51, Canada strong! ❤️🍁

We had these dolls when I was a kid. Mom wouldn't let us have Barbies, so we had the shark eyes family.
